Unfortunately had a less than positive experience at this EWC location yesterday. My technician Stephanie was apparently way over booked going into the holiday weekend. Appointment started 18 minutes late, and then she was so rushed to get back on schedule that a lot of hair was left over 🙁 I believe it was a scheduling problem, that she just didnt have enough time to do a thorough job. Stephanie was very nice, but because of the poor quality of the wax, I had to drive back on my lunch break for a touch up with Megan. Megan was also super sweet, and got everything left over. She’s the reason for 3 stars. But what a major inconvenience because of, what I believe was caused by, poor management. This is what happens when franchises are driven more by quantity instead of quality.

I went in to get an eyebrow wax just now at 6:20 pm, I wasn’t greeted when I came in and dealt with a young blonde girl which looked to be the receptionist .When I came to the counter the girl just stared at me and that’s when I said I needed to get an eyebrow wax, her response was “we are fully booked and we close at 7”. Terrible service. Funny thing was when I went to my car she kept staring at me with a nervous look on her face.

Lately this center has gone bad. New ppl that don’t have experience leaving hair after a wax. Customer Service has gone down tremendously. Sadly I bought the unlimited pass so I have to use it. Front desk is not trained. Went there and after 9 months they told me no child unless with a stroller which I usually do. That’s ok. There was a lady there with her one yr old who didn’t get told that. I waited for Service to be over and still didn’t get told that. If you’re gonna mention it to one person, you must mention it to everyone. I almost felt attacked as I told the lady I didn’t like the service and then she decided to let me know. Also, I’m a different ethnicity than the other mom with a child. You need consistency.

Very unreliable. Can’t keep their staff. Always having to cancel appointments made a month in advance, super last minute. Was willing to keep going to the San Marcos location after I moved to Temecula to support their business. But if they can’t respect my time, I don’t need to support them.

Experience was great but even with all of the products they recommended I still got nasty ingrown hairs.. they won’t heal fast and they are pretty bad. If your skin is delicate don’t trust a product to prevent the side effect that you usually get.

Over the years I have had many waxing sessions some were just awful and some are amazing. I moved from the South Bay to San Diego County and that was one of my main concerns. Here at EWC I can actually say this is my main home for my waxing needs. I see the same girl which is Brooke and she is so amazing. This weekend Brooke had an emergency so they set my appointment for today and I met Kitty. Kitty is amazing too. Now I feel that I have two amazing technicians that I can bounce between in case they are on vacation. These two ladies make you feel safe and at home. I am a talker and enjoy hearing stories from what they enjoy or what fun things they have done. Thank you Brooke and Kitty for being awesome.

I had never been to European Wax Centers before and I was shocked on my first visit that my eye brow wax was FREE!!! I was so excited! Nothing is ever free!
