Not welcoming to new customers. I booked an appointment for 7:45pm. I was running late so I called to notify them according to their policy. The receptionist said no worries, they be able to take me as long as I’m within their 9 minute grace period. I arrived at 7:53pm and she refused to honor the appointment. Very disappointing

First and last time here. We came 5 minutes late for a 30-minute appointment. The person who is waxing came back after we’d been there for 5 minutes, and then told us that she would only have 20 minutes to do the full leg wax because “You missed most of it so I only have 20 minutes.” I thought that was incredibly rude and uncalled for, especially considering that she had no idea why we were late. Even if she did only have 20 minutes, she could have been a lot nicer about it. As I said, this is the last time I’ll ever be coming here.

The call center is not helpful. The supervisor said she was sending am email to the manager at the Buffalo store. When I went for my appt. The manager was there and never received an email. The call center refuses to transfer you to the store and or let the phone ring so the store picks up. They are rude and lie.

I recently visited the Buffalo Speedway location, which I don’t typically go to but was in the area, and boy… big mistake! The manager was one of the most unprofessional, rude people I’ve ever come across. I believe her name was Tania. She called me a liar multiple times; I even got a manager from another location I go to on the phone to chat with her and explain that was I was saying was indeed the case. I have a several-hundred-dollar gift card with the company, that I’ve used at multiple locations, and still have a large balance on. She absolutely refused to let me use it and so I had to pay out-of-pocket. She was a very impolite individual and I strongly question how she is in management. I am disgusted with my experience yesterday and EWC may have lost a long-time customer because of this.
