First of all, EWC always does a good job – however, I had Marelle, and it was the best, most professional wax I have ever had. Ever. She wasn’t speed waxing me, she took her time, was thorough, detail oriented, and even explained to me what she was doin as she did it so there were no surprise touches. I’ll definitely be coming back here and asking for her by name! The best waxer here,hands down.

This was my first time visiting this location and while I was physically in the store my experience was amazing but unfortunately after I left I experienced some pain in my bottom area after getting a Brazilian wax. I went to my Obgyn to get check out and she told me that when I got the wax the esthetician ripped skin off during the wax in several areas. I don’t wish to bring any bad light to this particular location I just want to warn people when trying new services and letting new people perform those services. I hope that I can go back and have a better experience but in the mean time I’m going to hold off on them. I would add photos but their explicit.

I have been coming to this location for a while now but after today I will officially be switching locations. I was a bit late to my appointment due to work and because I didn’t call to inform them, they let the person scheduled after me take my place. I was less than 9 minutes late so they should have honored the 9 minute grace period. I asked if I could take that womans appointment since she let her in for mine and the receptionist declined. She said the last appointment they had was at 2:15 and if I came in they would somehow be backed up the rest of the day. My appointment was at 1:15 and I came in at 1:22. She never allowed me to come in at 2:15 either when I suggested that and said that they all wanted to go home even though it was her mistake by not honoring my 9 minute grace period and giving my appointment to someone else. I’ve never been to a location that has gone against their own rules. Southport and norridge locations have better customer service for sure.

Went in for the first time to have my back waxed. I was booked with Stacy and she did a great job with calming me down, talking to me and keeping me focused on other things besides the pain. Afterwards she took the time to show me some of the products to help me with ingrowns and I must say it worked magic. Would definitely recommend Stacy if its your first time. Will come back again.

I hate calling on the phone to talk to people, especially at hair and wax places–I am not super knowledgeable and I tend to pick up on a lot of annoyance and curtness (like they are too busy to talk, go go go, etc…).I was able to get an appt the same day. I was nervous as I was going in because of social anxiety, but I immediately felt welcome. It was so clean and I was greeted and went back with Jennifer immediately. She was so patient with me as it was my first time there. She was also so personable and we talked about all sorts of stuff! I really felt seen and heard. She explained everything she was going to do and made sure we were on the same page before beginning.The brow wax barely hurt and after I left, I felt like I had gained so much confidence! On my way out, Avi gave me a welcome packet, gave me more information about scheduling, the app, how everything works, etc…Wow, I had a wonderful experience!
