Whether it’s your first time or hundredth time if you are going into the Bluffton, SC location I 100% recommend Michaela R. (pronounced Makayla). Typically waxes I’ve had in the past have been super awkward. You got some lady snatching hairs from you most sensitive body parts and more often than not there’s no conversation while it’s happening. I had my earbuds in ready to die for a good 15 minutes but Michaela was like no baby we bought to cut a fool in here. She made the otherwise terribly painful experience (cause it’s been over a year ) about as enjoyable as she could. Thanks and if I come back I’ll come see ya ✌

This place is a complete SCAM!! Never will I patronize this business. I was in need of an upper leg wax asap and saw that EWC was offering 50% off of any new service excluding full legs . I received the service but did not receive the promotion due to the receptionist saying I needed to add a service other than the one I wanted the promotion for . I pulled up the promotion on EWC website as well as read a plaque they had by the register . Nowhere in the fine print did it say any of this . The receptionist apologized and said maybe she wasn’t informed correctly. I left my number for the manager to call me the next day to rectify this . After speaking to the manager she states that each location operates differently and that their location does not honor it . BUT they have a plaque by the register advertising the promotion lol. And once again the plaque they have in store fine print says none of the reasons I was given on why it would not be honored . Modern say scam artist the manager stated that it was nothing that could be done and hung up on me twice . I understand all locations my operate differently but they SHOULD NOT advertise a promotion in store that they don’t honor . That is misleading and a scam .Please guys save yourself and get sugared ! I recommend SUGAR BARE in Savannah great customer service , honest pricing . And they are opening a location closer to bluffton as well !

Critical: Professionalism, QualityI have never missed an appointment. I missed my scheduled appointment and was charged $60. (The website said there is a $25 missed appointment fee.) so I immediately called the center to explain what happened and asked for a manager twice Friday & Saturday. They said they would email her my concerns and she would get back to me. No call. I called again and Finally spoke to the manager. The manager was very unprofessional and rude about the situation. She told me she couldn’t do anything about it and will not do anything about it. I will not use this European Wax Center again. Don’t waste your time going here. I unfortunately got stuck in bad traffic and called to alert them I would be late. I was told that at 7 mins late, I would only be able to get a lesser service and at 10 mins I would have to rebook (based on my GPS I was going to be 11 mins late). I could not book later in the day so I was told that I would be charged the full amount of the service (a fee I get but the full amount!). Second, I have had the service I was there for done before at other salons and it takes about 15-20 minutes and is done very thoroughly! The service here took 40 minutes.
