I went for an eyebrow wax and they came out absolutely destroyed. The waxer never asked how I wanted them waxed and I probably should have said something but she had already put on the wax. My eyebrows have never been this thin and uneven. There’s huge spots where patches of hair are left. The waxer didn’t even bother to clean up the leftover hairs afterwards. Although they didn’t charge me, it still cost me half of my eyebrows.

I writing this review in my car crying after a wax with Gauri. I have had a lot of waxes in my day and I have never had such a rough experience as I just did, the wax was too hot, she wasn’t waiting for it to dry before ripping it off, and kept going over the same areas again and again. When I winced (because it’s painful, like duh) she replied with “k?” And then continued to scoff when I was indicating I was obviously in pain. She never asked me how I was doing or do any thing to alleviate the pain like other waxers have in the past. It was my first time not feeling safe in EWC and I did not feel I was in good hands. She also touched her computer screen with her gloves and continued to wax me. When I left the store I immediately started crying because the whole experience was overwhelming. I love EWC but I would recommend going to other locations.

She is a wax magician – pain free and super quick. I am a deep breath taker and was waiting to have to breath through some of the appointment and I didn’t feel anything. I sat on the table, told her how long I had been in the area and then she was done. I mean amazing. Aside from her waxing skills she is also so friendly, super chatty and makes you feel totally comfortable.I only spent a short amount of time there (which for a wax is ideal) and from a first visit perspective it was just wonderful.
