The reviews for this location are accurate regarding esthetician, Shaunta’. I had a horrific experience in the past with waxing which has impacted my decision on ever getting the service again. However, after researching which EW location to go to, I decided to give the Glenarden location a try. I scheduled a wax with Shaunta’ and was not disappointed! She is professional, knowledgeable and experienced with waxing. She was patient during my initial appointment and did not make me feel the slightest bit embarrassed. Due to my pleasant experience, I signed up to be a member and prepaid for 12 sessions. I’ve since consistently scheduled my follow up appointments with her and purchased EW products based on her recommendations. The front desk staff have always been pleasant and greet me upon arrival. During check out, they always ask about scheduling my follow up appointment and whether I enjoyed the service. I’ll also add that the facility and restroom appears clean. I hope this business continues to elevate the customer service experience during each encounter. Would definitely recommend this location.

Always have pretty good waxes here but I scheduled an appointment that my waxer couldn’t fulfill. I texted to reschedule the appointment but never received a response. I called to reschedule and the lady informed me the appointment was booked. I never received a confirmation text and thought it was weird but didn’t think too much about it. Since there was no confirmation, I called the day of to confirm the time and I had no appointment scheduled. I rescheduled for a later time on the same day and wanted to wait on the phone until a confirmation was received. The receptionist wasn’t friendly at ALL as if this inconvenience wasn’t a mistake on their side. Needless to say I’ll spend my money at another location since I do buy my waxes for the full year which really is an investment where I believe great customer service isn’t much to ask for.

BEST EUROPEAN WAX CENTER I HAVE EVER BEEN TO (i have been to many all over NY,NJ,MD,VA). The staff is so sweet and nice and accommodating from the receptionist to the waxers. My wax was with Shaunta. She was everything that you want a waxer to be. Kind, welcoming, she made me feel so comfortable. She talked to me during the wax the whole time and made sure I felt comfortable. I actually can not say enough good things about her. The results of the wax were impeccable. I will be going back to her no questions asked.

Today was my first time at EWC and Shaunta was my esthetician. She made me feel extremely comfortable and was very attentive to my concerns. Shaunta suggested products that would help me address my areas of concern. During my session she answered all my questions and we had good conversation.
