I tried to explain to her that I wanted more shape liked my right eye (see picture) but she could never get there. Now I look like I have one scotch tape eyebrow and the other doesn’t match at all. Highly disappointed. I would have assumed that waxers here would be well trained on shaping but that is not the case. I won’t be back. I guess the silver lining is that the service was free?! Not a fan. It was my first time so my service was free but eyebrows have less shape now than they did when I went in. Alana was so great the last time I saw her and today! She is so fun to chat with, and she is very thoughtful of pain tolerance. i really really appreciated her today because I was running late and chose to reschedule one of my three services, but she went out of her way to get everything I needed done anyway while maintaining gentle care! I also appreciate the advice she gives me to make my next appointments more successful.

I have been going here for about a year now for Brazillians and other waxing needs. I love this center! Had a bad experience only once, with a waxer who came from another center. The manager was so kind and listened and made sure I never had this issue again and that was months ago and have been nothing but satisfied since. When booking for the first time, tell them what type of waxer you prefer. The one with the most experience, one who doesn’t talk much, or in my case one who talks and interacts is what I prefer because it keeps me distracted and doesn’t feel so awkward.

I have gone to this location several times and have always had great service and results. Perhaps this was a fluke but my waxing experience on Sunday 13 March 2022 was not good. I should have know there was a problem when the technician came out 10 min late and had to be called twice and then proceeded to tell me she was having a bad day….She rushed through the process, asked nothing about my skin, did not properly clean and put very little soothing balm after and left a cut and burn looking marks on both my eyelids my eyelids are still burning today. I am really concerned they will scar. I bought an eye brow package the time before this because I trusted this business and am now afraid to use it because this cannot happen again. My eyebrow technician I used in the past left and this was a new person. I really hope this is not the future of this business.

I hate that I am even having to write this review after I was referred for such positive experiences by my friend but unfortunately I didn’t have a good experience. I received two treatments today (brow wax and Brazilian wax). I was greeted by a very nice receptionist who welcomed me to EWC and gave me the welcome speech since it was my first time. I live in Winchester, so this was a bit of a drive for me, but procedures in Winchester cost more so I thought I would make the trip for something more affordable. At the beginning of my treatment my esthetician was visibly crying and red eyed so she wasn’t very talkative or welcoming – fine. I can give her the benefit of the doubt she’s obviously going through something, so I didn’t make conversation. However, when she was doing my brown wax she had me lay down and she asked me what I wanted (follow my natural shape, just clean up and make them look identical) and then proceeded to wax. I paid $22 for her to wax above and below my brown and do nothing to make my browns look identical. The description of the service on the website is “Brow shaping that includes a trim, wax and tweeze. Includes filling in the brows with makeup.” Where was all of this during my service? My eyebrows don’t look sharp or like they’ve been done at all. I even asked a friend that I met for dinner afterwards and she agreed nothing but my under brown looked different.

I started coming to this location two years ago and the staff and specialists are so amazing and so friendly! They make you feel so comfortable and anwser any questions you may have! I recommend Leigh or Anna! they are such sweethearts! The experience is quick too, so it doesnt take much time of busy days!! love this waxing center !!
