ok. The service here is fine. but that is not my problem. So I bought a package from this location a couple of years ago. it happened that immediately after my purchase, maybe a week or so, my life circumstances changed, and I had to move to Canada. I emailed and called multiple times to cancel my membership because they don’t have a branch in canada. nobody responded. then after a month they responded to one of my multiple communications and let me know because it is passed the grace period they cannot refund my purchase. I told them it is not my fault that they waited for the grace period to be over to respond to my communications. long story short, they refused. I acted through my bank. then they contacted me again and promised full refund. but no. they only refunded about $100 of my $400. I never saw my money. I just wanted to leave this review as a warning for people who may want to buy their packages.

The overall quality of the stripless wax was pretty good. It was less painful (for me personally, I cannot speak for others’ pain sensation) than standard wax, hair came off clean, and the skin felt smooth afterwards.

Melissa is my girl! I feel extremely comfortable with all safety precautions they take, and love the packages they give. It’s great because if you go home for the holidays and there is a EWC near you, you can still use your package. I’ve had only pleasant experiences. I highly recommend!!

Quick in and out all the time. I’ve been to this location for the last 2 years now. Friendly staff and really great prices if you get the packages. Easy peasy and local so perfect for the busy person who just needs quick processes and good prices. The manager was extremely helpful with my wax pass issue. I was working with someone else to resolve it in the past but it wasn’t fixed! So 5 stars all around.

I got a Brazilian bikini wax here a little over 6 months ago… I didn’t want to give a review right away because of my paranoia/phobia of HIV until after assuring my test was negative; due to some small unknown risks when receiving my Brazilian bikini. Unexpectedly, foreign unknown tweezers that I didn’t see sterilized were used by the technician to tweeze hair follicles. I was very stoned/medicated on my own account to relax prior to my wax session, so I didn’t really think much of the risks due to the tweezers used on my hair follicles/skin until later that night. Although the technician probably meant well and the wax was good; I didn’t follow up with another wax for months and some. I never experienced that kind of anxiety being a long time (14 years) client of EWC and every location does operate differently. This one just may not be for me…

I’ve been going to EWC DuPont Circle for almost 2 years in September I believe. Amari has been my very first waxer and I’ve been seeing her ever since. Customer service is awesome and it’s always nice talking to her as always! I don’t ever see myself ever switching a waxer anytime soon lol. The ladies at the front desk are always pleasant always. It’s so nice seeing everyone when I do come.
