I got a full face wax about four days before my wedding. First time at this location but some locals said it was a great spot. Based on a sign at check in I think I got one of the newer waxers. Everything seemed to be going fine… Then the water did my upper lip on one side three or four times without powder in between and now I have a huge wax burn/peeled off, raw skin on the right side of my upper lip. No way that’ll heal in time for my wedding! And I don’t even use any of the products they warn you about using like retinol. I followed all rules and guidelines. Guess I’ll have all left side pictures on my wedding day will never be coming back and if you’re reading this, take this as a warning to not go here!

I have been coming to this location for 2+ years. I have had many great waxers, but I have also had many bad ones. For some reason the staff come and go very quickly. I will frequently get passed off to another person once the person I like leaves and then it takes me another couple waxes to find someone I like again. My wax yesterday was just that; I was trying to find someone new after the last gal left. It’s a shame because she did get all the hairs which is hard to do; but in place of that I’m left with many very sore borderline painful spots. On almost every pull, she tried to pull too soon before the wax was set. This resulted in her pulling the same piece over and over again in a very sensitive spot only for it to keep tugging and ripping off in pieces. I am writing this review the next day and I am still in pain in the one particular area. I will be trying out the Saratoga Springs location to see if I can get any luck with a better waxer again

Just got my first bikini wax here and it was great. The lady at the front desk was very sweet, and the girl who did my wax, Chloe, was extremely helpful in explaining everything to me including after care. It didn’t hurt nearly as bad as I was expecting and they made me feel very comfortable and welcome. Overall great experience.
