Probably the worst experience I’ve ever had at a EWC. I go in for my full stomach, underarms, and Brazilian. I walk out with patches of hair still present in all three areas I was just waxed in. I go in for a touch up for just my stomach and I still walk out with patches of hair present. On top of that, I have a huge red mark present (a burn) around my bellybutton from the touch up. The esthetician for my touch up was pulling the wax strip too quickly and not allowing the wax to dry and kept reapplying wax to the same area. I’ve never been to an esthetician school, but I’m pretty sure you never apply hot wax to the same area more than twice nor are you supposed to pull the wax so quickly when the client’s hair is very thin. It’s honestly so frustrating that I spend so much money to have hair removed and I’m not satisfied with the results. It bothers me that I had to tell both my estheticians that “I have thin hair, if you pull to quickly it’ll break at the surface.” I shouldn’t have to mention anything about my hair growth, it’s quite evident. Beyond frustrated and disappointed with the estheticians at this location.

Courtney is absolutely the best. I have been to many other locations and waxing specialists but never had such a great experience. I have been going to her for the past 2.5 years. Courtney is very thorough which is something you don’t get with every waxing specialist. At the same time, she is also quick and her treatments are painless. A true professional and a very pleasant person too. She also knows the products very well and what works for each individual. Others will just sell the same product to everyone without taking into consideration the skin condition and issues. I highly recommend Courtney.

Critical: PunctualityThey were running late 20 minutes late. I left to shop when they called me i told them 10 minutes, they canceled my appointment telling me I was now late!! Bad attitude from front desk. Emailed the manager, got no response. Went to Plainview EWS, great service. Avoid greenvale!

Ive been a customer at this location since they opened about 8 years ago when I was a senior in high school. Most of the waxers here are excellent. However my biggest issue with this brand especially this location is the pushiness and bullying tactics they use to force customers to buy from them. This is clearly a training issue and as someone who has worked in sales I appreciate the hustle and emphasis on selling but I don’t appreciate being talked down to for not wanting to spend $700 on a package when I just bought a $200 one last month or not wanting to buy more overpriced products that don’t help my ingrowns.

I have been getting waxed at this location for a long time now and bought packages for services and everything and had a good rapport with the person who waxed me. Recently I was talked into buying a product that I totally didn’t need but I caved. I took it home and read all the warnings on it and it seems so harmful when they promote being natural. I asked to return it as I haven’t opened it and apparently even though I straight up JUST got it and it is unopened with safety stickers and everything I cannot exchange it for something I actually need because there’s a whole “new line” of product. I don’t know why they would have sold it to me knowing it’s so bad they needed to cancel it and come out with new things making this not exchangeable. The product I want to exchange it for even costs more money so they’d benefit as well. Not sure why everything is a scam but lesson learned.I’d give it zero stars if I could. I came early for my 6:15 appointmrnt and was seen super late, and I know why. The woman who did my wax CANT STOP TALKING. She was talking so much with the customer before me and tried chewing my ear raw when I saw her.
