I’m 5 months pregnant and went in for my first ever Brazilian wax today. I picked Amanda because of all the fabulous reviews I read and I can honesty say that she lived up to and beyond all of those reviews. From the moment I met her she made me feel so comfortable and she made the whole waxing experience painless. Amanda is definitely a perfectionist, which I truly appreciate, and she makes sure to get every single hair. Before going in I was very nervous and I can now say that there is absolutely nothing to be nervous about! If you are looking for an all around great waxing experience do yourself a favor and go see Amanda!

Went here for the first time and got a Brazilian wax. As soon as I get into the room the girl doing the service immediately tries to sell me items. Before she even saw my skin that I was there for, she tells me I need to purchase an exfoliator. Not sure how she knows If I need that before seeing the skin. The worst part of the whole thing was she pointed out my leg hair and said “do you shave your legs??” It made me super uncomfortable and I just wanted to leave. I wasn’t there for any service on my legs so I’m not sure why she had to point out that I have leg hair. During the whole service she’s trying to sell me stuff. I told her I don’t need to buy anything extra and I’m just here for the wax. She says “I’m just going to give you a few samples to take home and try to see if you like them” making it sound like there’s no cost. The service was so fast and seemed like she rushed it. It felt very aggressive on my skin, and I’m not new to waxing and I have never felt this way before. I never got the girls name because she was so busy trying to sell me products that she never even got to introduce herself. After paying, I asked for my receipt and she said the printer was broken and she can email it. I get home I look at my E receipt to find I was charged over $20 for these “samples”. After saying I don’t want to purchase extra things. I guess this place is so desperate to sneak in a quick sale that they don’t even realise they just lost a potential life long customer.

I came to this EWC about a year ago from another location due to a posting on Facebook. I’m so glad to have found this location because it is closer to home and my wax specialist, Melanie is amazing. I’m always greeted by her with a friendly smile and we have a conversation about whatever, instead of generic monotone conversations that last for 2 seconds. Mel is great and gets my service done quickly and efficiently!

I’ve visited here twice; once to touch up on a less-than-stellar job performed by another salon, and the second for a full Brazilian. If you’re new to the latter, please do yourself a favor and book an appointment with Ty – she is so incredibly kind and patient and will talk as much or as little as you need her to, if you want the distraction. In my case, we got into a great “breathe in, breathe OUT” pattern that honestly made the whole thing a ton easier. She’s also a perfectionist and won’t miss a thing. You’ll be in great hands, I promise!
