Heather is great at what she does. She deserves the 5 stars. She takes her time and makes me feel comfortable. And always tries to make up for the scheduling department mistakes. The scheduling department rates a 2 stars. I booked my last service for 6:30 and received 2 confirmations for my 6:30 appointment. When I arrived I was told that my appointment time was 6:45. Someone is playing with the books. This is not the first time this has happened. If times need to be adjusted a phone call would be most appreciated so I could make a decision about the change.

I had an eyebrow wax yesterday- a service I have done hundreds times before, without any issues, ever. However yesterday I decided to go to the European Wax Center in Marlboro ,nj. Everyone was so nice and sweet. My provider,Nicole, was very polite and nice. and than she did the eyebrow wax.it was painful during, it was more painful than usual afterwards,when she applied antiseptic and ” calming” lotion. It looked wonderful. But was still painful. I thought I just forgotten how it feels, that it would go away in a few minutes. I had errands to run for a few hours, I had to cut it short as my eyes and upper eyelids were hurting so much and increasingly so. I started to have difficulty seeing, as I was driving, my eyes looked so puffy and red. I rushed home, cleaned my face, which made me scream it was so painful, could not touch my eyelids without moaning in pain. Guess what- not an allergic reaction I was afraid it was- a laceration to my both eyelids, red,raw, seeping fluid, raw as if someone took my skin off- because they did! I call the center immediately, they said a manager will get back to me. They did not. I called today twice- the manager, Jillian, said she could not really help as she “did not know what I was looking for”. Did not appologise once. I had to go to ER last night. I can barely see. I do not know how I will work. I will have to explain that I am not a battered woman, or rather battered but by the European wax center. They have literally maimed me, and did not even say sorry. This is a humbling and truly a learning experience. I only hope there will be no lasting effect.I know it’s a long review, I am not sure who will read it, but if you do, choose another place for your own safety.
