I’ve been going to this waxing location for quite a few years now but it really is a hit or a miss with the waxers. Everyone has been very nice, but the last time I went the waxing experience was horrible. I got a Brazilian wax (which I’ve gotten many times before) and it was so painful. I could tell when she was spreading the wax there was something wrong with it, it wasn’t spreading well and when she went to rip it off it got stuck multiple times! I’m kinda shy and I didn’t want to offend the waxer, but these past few days after the wax I am really regretting that I didn’t speak up. I have so many red itchy bumps. I think it’s time I try a new location as two of the waxers I had in the past who were great no longer work there and now trying new waxers is very chancy. One other time I tried a waxer by random (I specifically asked for someone who had more experience) and they gave me a newbie anyway which I found out while chatting with her that she had just started. Very nice girl but not a good wax. I don’t know if it’s the training they received was lacking but it really needs to be stressed that if your wax isn’t going on and coming off nicely that it needs to be fixed or changed out.

This evening I called in to schedule my first appointment since the pandemic started. Needless to say while I was a bit apprehensive about making the appointment, the receptionist Katherine (aka “Kat”) made me feel very comfortable. She was professional, kind and accommodating in both scheduling my appointment and helping me order a new wax pass!!! So glad I called. Even had a credit on my account I wasn’t aware of! Looking forward to my appt. tomorrow with Heather and meeting Kat in person to extend my thanks again. As a prior wax pass holder at this location, I have no doubt my experience tomorrow with Heather will be a pleasant one!

I used to see an amazing wax specialist here, and once she left no one was able to measure up. As of late my specialist has been making my eyebrows shorter and thinner each time, despite my insistence that she not do that. The last time would be my last visit, after almost 8 years of patronage. My eyebrows were so short and thin it looked like it was 2004 all over again, and then the wax was so hot that I broke out into a heat rash. I explained the burning sensation and showed her my large red marks and bumps forming, she offered me calming lotion and I insisted I go to the bathroom. I left in tears from the frustration and pain, and my specialist said nothing as I left. And I paid for the entire experience, i never ask for anything in terms of discounts. But I left with a huge burn mark on my forehead, and the receptionist after being caught up on what was happening asked me, “how was everything today?” Save yourself the hassle and book elsewhere.

I do not recommend going to this location if you want a pleasant experience. I went in for a Brazilian and leg wax. The procedure was extremely rushed and the wax specialist was very unfriendly and indifferent. She was not thorough at all and there were a lot of hairs neglected. After a wax, the area is supposed to be completely smooth and soft, but unfortunately I was left with many many hairs that were not removed. I’m extremely dissatisfied and disappointed in this experience. After paying $115 for just these two services, you would expect a much better result. However, I feel as if this location was just the worst of it all. I’m sure other EWC’s are more professional, friendly and thorough.

The wax was too hot and my waxer had horrible body odor. At first I thought it was me but every time she got closer to me I realized it was her. She also made me very uncomfortable talking about supernatural topics. Between that, her odor and the wax temperature I had a less than pleasant experience.
