I have been waxing with EWC forever. I just recently moved to Wanaque and this center is now the closest one to me. Right when you walk in the center is clean and looks high-end. The vibe is really calm and fun. Front desk is super unique and sweet. Everyone I’ve met here so far is great. I’ve been waxed by Denise and Megan and I love them both! They’re so understanding, know what they’re doing and really get all the hair up! I feel like my wax lasted a little longer than normal 🙂 I was able to use my packages that I purchased at my old EWC at this one so it’s really convenient that I was able to do that. Will definitely continue waxing with EWC!

Denise was very kind makes you feel comfortable… but it says first time customers get a discount which I didn’t receive ! I was just being pressured into a bunch of packages by the lady at the front desk ..never once did she say she was taking anything off it was suppose to be 50% off for first time people which I did not receive …. I love Denise she was a pleasant person who makes you comfortable but I feel that I should of got what the website offers for first time clients !!!

After my appt I went home to see that I had a considerable amount of hair patches not removed. So much so that I had to remove it myself. It’s my fault as I should not have trusted her to do her job and should have verified prior to leaving. However when paying that kind of money, I don’t expect to have to finish the job I paid for. She clearly needs more training! Only reason I’m giving it 2 stars is because the receptionist was amazing and the place was really clean with a great ambiance.

Didn’t use this business as I walked out. I was 10 minutes early to my 12:15 appointment to hear the receptionist belittled the customer in front of me checking her out, and trying to push a package deal. She blasted the services the woman was receiving and for a good 10-15 minutes trying to persuade her to buy the packages; to the point I was going to step in. Then she finally checked me in and another girl for her 12:30. The condescending receptionist was telling me to “get ready after I’m done with my full leg”. … Get ready for what?!?! I told her I’m not interested, I don’t even live in the area. Then questioned why I don’t wax often, why I’m wearing jeans in this heat in front of others. The other customer went in before me; and 12:45 they STILL weren’t ready for me. Receptionist is rude, pushy… I called Waxing the City in Franklin Lakes and asked of they could squeeze me in. I soooooo recommend Waxing the City over this rude place!!!

Had a wax with Melanie and it was the worst service i have ever received. I have been waxing with EWC for over 10 years. My wax service should have been an hour. I was there for an hour and twenty minutes and the services were not finished. She didn’t apply the wax on correctly and missed many areas. When i pointed out the areas that she missed she got even sloppier with her application and removal so i asked her to pull off whatever she had applied and left the appointment with half of my services done. Would definitely not recommend Melanie as a waxer.
