I’ve been getting underarm and leg waxes by a friend but I was ready to try a Brazilian. Getting naked in general is one of the things I’m most shy and nervous about so I was worried about getting waxed by a stranger. I’m also very self conscious with new people and get very anxious internally talking with people. I booked my appointment online and when I showed up the woman at the front desk was immediately welcoming and even knew the guest in front of me by name when she walked in. I was given Leslie for my waxing and the second she called my name and I got up, she started talking to me like a friend she was catching up with. She had no idea it was my first Brazilian or that I was super nervous so I’d say it’s safe to assume that she’s always like this. I mentioned it was my first time when we got in the room and she explained everything and chatted with me the entire time while also talking with me about what to be prepared for. It honestly felt like talking to a friend and she had me beyond comfortable and even laughing and wanting to continue the conversation. I felt so open that I even told her my biggest insecurities about this type of waxing and he told me she had the same ones and which helped me know I wasn’t alone. She is a gift to this center, and from other reviews, it seems like a lot for their staff are. I am so incredibly happy and grateful with this experience and I would recommend to everyone!

First of all I’m shocked there are no reviews for Seidah. She was AMAZING! I used to go somewhere else but changed locations due to a new job. I chose someone at random (which is terrifying for me) and thank god I ended up with her!! She is so knowledgeable, talks to you the entire time, shes hysterical and she didn’t miss one hair! Such a great experience, she’s my new go to girl!

I’ve been going to this location of EWC for over a year and I have had nothing but positive experiences with all the women who are employed there (receptionists and waxers). As someone who struggles with social anxiety, these ladies have been nothing but positive and uplifting thus making my time there extremely enjoyable, especially with the kind of service I get.

First off, I don’t usually write reviews. My mother and I went to go get our waxing services done together. We scheduled an appointment about a week prior and we were looking forward to it. The lady on the phone was cooperative and very well mannered answering all my questions since it was my first time. We got to our appointment on time and turns out we weren’t able to get half of our services done that day because of a waxer not being there. They said they called but they had the wrong number so we weren’t aware at all. It was my turn first and my experience with my waxer was great, even though I didn’t get all the services I wanted. I forgot her name but she made me feel comfortable for my first time and the job was well done. My mom had to wait for a while so she went to the store in the meantime, when coming back there was traffic on the way so she was a bit late but nothing that was too concerning. There was a policy that we weren’t informed about (9min policy) and the receptionist called my mother who was on her way explaining that she wasn’t going to get her services done because of the 9 min policy. My mother was getting annoyed because we showed up on time and we weren’t notified about any of the changes. The receptionist showed no empathy and was being disrespectful towards my mom when she was just expressing her annoyance. I was there to my moms defense and to try to calm the situation down. It wasn’t our fault that they had the wrong number nor not having a waxer. We’re going on vacation soon and everything was planned so this messed everything up. Nonetheless, my mom got just one of the services she wanted. My waxing experience personally was great, but the receptionist’s customer service wasn’t. All I ask in the future is to inform people ahead of time for any policies that we should know about, get the correct contact info so this wouldn’t happen, and to not be rude to customers when dealing with unforeseen circumstances.

I first went to this location on a recommendation from a friend last June. I was new to waxing. My first two visits I had a wonderful esthetician and I decided to purchase a wax pass, but unfortunately she left and I tried three other estheticians before I decided to loose out on the last few visits I had left and find a new place to go. Come to find out it wasn’t me but it was the estheticians there that caused me pain and did not properly wax. I have been going to my new esthetician at a new place and it’s a wonderful experience. I am treated with respect and she makes me feel comfortable unlike European Wax where it’s like a factory and a barbaric torture for the 10 minutes. I have had no issues afterwards now and the wax last longer than when I went to European Wax. Do yourself a favor and don’t bother with this place. Also the front desk is very unprofessional and rude when calling to book. When I called to cancel my last appointment she treated me like I was bothering her by calling. If I could rate no stars I truly would. Waste of money for my almost a year of business I gave them. They shouldn’t even be allowed to do what they do.

I never write reviews, I will start with that. I was also a customer for many years. However in this particular location, the front desk staff is exceptionally rude. One particular receptionist cancelled my appointment as I walk in because I was “seconds late” and was unwilling to help me as a customers. She actually said this. I am not sure what the training for front desk receptionist is, but telling a customer that they will not accommodate them because they are “seconds” late shows the need to revisit their policy and approach to customer service. I will no longer make appointments in this location, waxing is painful enough.

I scheduled an appointment via the company’s website about 2 weeks ago. When I called the other day to confirm my appointment I was told that they were not able to offer me the service I scheduled. I scheduled a Brazilian wax and they said they would only have tome for a bikini wax. Their excuse was that the online scheduling system was faulty. When asked if I can be seen by someone else they said no because they were at capacity. Not professional at all, will not recommend to anyone. 0 stars
