Was a great experience! I was late for my apt and they were closing and they still took me in and were very nice and didn’t rush with me or anything. Didn’t catch the woman’s name but she was wonderful! She was gentle and great to talk to especially for it being my 2 time doing waxing- so the support was great! Brazilian waxing

I had called prior to book a appointment for my husband and myself for waxing before vacation. The receptionist was amazing, friendly and responsive. I had boxed a back for my husband, which was fine. I booked a lip. Chin, Brazilian full and a full leg. I was told it would be an hour time frame. When my wax specialist came to get me. I was told that she does not have time for full leg. I asked to take off the chin and lip then. The legs and Brazilian was more important to me. She informed me that full leg will be a 45 min alone. And she does not have time for it. But will do half leg. I agreed, my appointment was at 5pm and when I was completed and walked out of salon. It was 5:33pm. I felt rushed and not got the services I had requested or services preformed were not completed. My legs still are spotty with hair. For the price I paid and being a new customer, I was very please with the receptionist but very disappointed with the wax specialist

Unfortunately I need to update my review. I’ve been seeing Jenn for the last year, who I absolutely love – but I guess she’s no longer working at this location. I had an appt scheduled with her last week and was told she would not be in, but was given the option to reschedule or book same-day with another specialist – so I rescheduled for the following week with Jenn, went in for my appt and was told she was not there – except this time it wasn’t communicated to me ahead of time. I was scheduled with someone who was available by default. I’m very particular about who does my brazilians so I wasn’t super happy about the lack of communication. This happened to me at my last EWC though so I don’t know why I’m surprised. I will probably move on once my passes run out.

I appreciated that Jissi and the team were so helpful given the frustration i felt that morning. I had a great experience during my visit, was kindly given a discounted rate, and walked out with some great aftercare products. Will definitely be visiting again.I’ve tried to make two appointments, both before holiday weekends, and this location tried to cancel both times. The first time, Renee was gracious enough to see both my sister and I two hours after our original appointments even though there were no alternatives presented to us on the original day at first.The second time I got a TEXT at 7:53am this morning for the 8am appointment I was already on my way to. It’s 8am. The Friday before a holiday. They offered me 50% to come back. I tried to at least go in to buy some stuff because I would have to take care of it at home now – no one was even there, lights were off, door was closed. Cut me off when I was talking and when she booked me for the wrong date and time I called back to fix it and she told me i was wrong. I told her i just got the text confirmation for the wrong date and time and was happy to show them if that helped and she told me “she heard me the firs time and to calm down”. I would rather go elsewhere than have to deal with this person again. As a customer of 2+ years it’s upsetting to write this. I’m on my second wax pass (this one is a Brazilian). I went in for a bikini line wax and was shocked when I got to check out and had to pay FULL PRICE. The girl at check out said because I didn’t book it as a Brazilian I couldn’t use my wax pass, which has never been a problem in the past. So I left the store out almost a $100 and with her only advice “next time just book it as a Brazilian instead and get just a bikini wax”. Safe to say I’ll no longer be a customer after I’m done with my wax pass, which at this point I wish I could get a refund for.

I had really wanted to like the center after all of the positive reviews as I have been looking for a solid professional place to bring my teen daughter for her first wax appointment. And the center was in fact very clean and the master professional. However our interaction with the administrator had left me not wanting to set my foot in the center again. I had gotten a call in the morning that our scheduled wax specialist was sick and we had to reschedule. There was an opening earlier in the day an I had rearranged my work schedule to accommodate. We had arrived at the location on time. However there was no available parking and heavy construction around the center. It was hard to orient for the first time where to park. By the time we had gotten to the parking lot and then ran back to center – we were 8 minutes late. I know it was exactly 8 minutes because as we were walking through the door the administrator was calling my cell. We had rushed to apologize profusely and explain the difficulty with parking. However without even listening to our apologies we were informed that our appointment was canceled because of the law we can’t be served if we are 9 minutes late. My daughter was completely taken aback by the tone and was ready to turn around and leave. She later told me that she felt like she was being told off by the administrator and felt completely intimidated. To question of where was the 9 minute law coming from – as I had never heard of It in any of the previous salons I have visited – I was told to go read the centers policies. I had as a matter of fact went back to all of the emails from the center afterwards. Nowhere does it mention this particular regulation moreover all of them have a friendly message of “if you are late – no worries we will sort it out with you”.

My husband just called and tried to schedule my monthly appointment and Lykea ( if that is really her name) told him that he was ignorant because he had no idea that EWC uses phone numbers for scheduling. She also hang up on him multiple times.So I called and talked to Likea ( not sure how to spell her name since she refused to tell me) and informed her that I have a monthly plan and have paid in advance and was trying to see if my appointment was confirmed for the next day. She did not listen to me all the way and hang up half sentence. Then when I called back she informed me that she was sorry but they Will no longer accept me at this location . I asked to speak to a manager and she hang up on me once again. This is a very rude and unprofessional attitude which is unacceptable from someone working in the service business. Customer satisfaction is not something that’s valued at this location at all. This person was Very disrespectful to say the least, this is not someone that should be allowed to interact with customers …honestly this wasn’t an unpleasant experience it was the an WORST customer service ever.

I’m getting deducted amounts out my account for “passes” and I barely use the services the manager Meicha “ very rude and dismissive, this has to be THE MOST GHETTO EWC IN BOSTON, South Bay has better services.. very unprofessional , inexperienced, lack of sufficient customer service as well . I’ll never recommend this location. Arlington / Cambridge better services in that area
