I decided to discontinue going to a shop who doesn’t think much of my hair and the hairstyle only last one day. I have experienced this for a year of coming off and on. The positives are both sisters are very nice and they work fast and very accommodating.

Good place with reasonable prices. The woman who washed and blow out my hair was very thorough and gentle which I’m definitely not my experience at the Dominican hair salons.I’ll probably go back

My first time going to this salon was great customer service and hair service. In these past few months the service provided by the owner was terrible. On more than one occasion i was asked by the owner to get out of her chair so she can service someone else. When asked why she did not inform me that there was someone else ahead of me, she begin to play dumb and become rude and disrespectful. So i begin to leave and would not pay for the wash and blow dry. The owner grabbed a bottle of water and tried to throw it on my hair so i pulled my mace out!!! As a business i urge you to hire people that are a licensed cosmetologist and communicate better with your clients. I will never return to this place again

I love it here!! The beautiful ladies are so nice & sweet. One time I got off work late around 6:30 p.m & they closed at 7:00 p.m & she still did my hair for me. I tell all my friends when they need their hair done to come here! 5 stars from me

Hair came out really bad I showed the lady pictures of exactly what I wanted instead of her telling me she couldn’t do it she said okay and yes I can do it I can do it she asked me two times if I wanted a relaxer I told her no she told me a roller set would not be good on my hair when I know it would be it’s less heat and just way better also she didn’t give me what I wanted I walked out of there with a mushroom from the 80’s and I truly hated it and I was very embarrassed on my way home I would like to give her another try but I don’t know I might come out bad again if I do give her another try I will let you guys know and post a picture I didn’t post the picture this time because I’m really embarrassed about how I look. in reply to the person who replied to me I did not ask for magic I just asked for a nice hair style my hair was not nice and I will post my pictures to show the before and after if you’re not able to accommodate what I asked for I would just love for you to tell me I would have understood that better than what I got. Thank you for the blessings just do better next time the first pic is what I asked for I wanted my hair stright and not curled I understand once my hair was cut i didn’t have the length to copy the style exactly but as you can see in the second pic my hair wasn’t straight and I had a mushroom. The last pic was right outside the shop and you can see how happy I was to be there. My hair is natural. You guys be the judge.

Love this place, when i tell you if you go in there for a regular blow dry and straightened look, it’ll last you for more than 2 weeks, I have extremely curly hair and usually straightening my hair will only last me for that night, the most; the next day, but this shop works their magic

Critical: ProfessionalismListen, my hair was soft, my hair was shiny, and my hair was overall very pretty, but I am giving you 1 because I feel as though this will help you, but mostly, help people like me in the future. I am afro-latina, so my hair is a mixture of both African American hair and Hispanic hair. I cannot tell if you simply lack the proper training for dealing with African American hair, or you have it but neglect what you learned because you are rushing, but you NEED to handle our hair with more care! You NEED to be more gentle! While you were washing my hair, it was fine, but when you had to comb the conditioner through, this is when the problems started. First of all, you need to comb from the BOTTOM, UP, not from top to bottom. This creates an abundance of unnecessary tangles that were not there and you’ll only end up making it much harder for yourselves and also for the customer. Another tip, if there is a knot (that you created), do not simply PLOW through it! Wet it some more, and gently pick it out. This will prevent tearing and breakage and will also save the CUSTOMER from a lot of pain! My head was extremely sore because you people were pulling and tugging on my scalp as if I was not a human being. IT HURT. I could hear my hair “ripping” because you were being so impatient and when I looked at the brush, it was FULL OF MY HAIR. I can tell you now, my hair has NEVER come out that much when I did it myself! Never! Not even when it was natural! It broke my heart to see so much of my hair stuck in that brush…I have been leaving my hair natural for months and decided to go here to get it straightened for the first time in a while and then you just rip out all of my progress. After I returned home from the salon, I could not believe my eyes… my hair was so thin…so, so thin. I was crushed–my hair had never been that thin in my enire life. I had so much breakage and so many short areas of my hair because you ripped it all out. My ponytail had no weight or substance…I was so sad. Please, for the love of god, take my advice into consideration! Just because I suffered, does not mean other girls have to suffer, as well. Be more patient, be more gentle, brush from bottom, up, please treat girls like us a little nicer. And lastly, since I am afro-latina, I can understand Spanish! There are MANY people who are bilingual these days so it is extremely ignorant for one of your employees to say racist remarks under their breath thinking customers cannot understand! You should NOT assume that since someone does not speak Spanish to you, or because someone has brown skin, that they do not know Spanish. That is a very ignorant way to think, especially since you had no idea I was Hispanic, like you! It was not the owner who said the remarks, but still. HIGHLY unprofessional! Please inform your employees of the things I have written here. I’ll be back, and hopefully, you do things differently next time.Listen, my hair was soft, my hair was shiny, and my hair was overall very pretty, but I am giving you 1 because I feel as though this will help you, but mostly, help people like me in the future. Since my last experience, service seems to have declined. Something was used in my hair because the texture is different since I haven’t been in almost a year. My hair came out too in the back. A little cold during the winter months.

Just went there and I was sitting there for 30 mins. They only have 3 chairs available. They didnt have a separate shampoo girl like most places do. They wanted one person to blow dry my hair and the other to flat iron it. I dont want that many people in my hair. I didnt get anything done and I got up and left. I’ll stick to my regular dominican salon ever tho the drive will be longer.
