Critical: Professionalism, Quality, ValueIm very disappointed with my visit today. I am no longer coming back. The tech I had today did the bare minimum. They were black spots all over my nails, almost tried to charge me 5 dollars extra to have my cuticles cut (although they have done it in the past with what I ask), were uneven and filed poorly as you can see in the photo, and then didn’t want to file underneath the nails, making the nail feel heavy and glued to my skin. I usually don’t speak up when I don’t like something but it was almost unbearable to have them on, so I asked her to remove them. She scuffed while removing them although I had any doubt she would had these nails on herself. It’s like they choose when they want to do a good job and when to put in no effort. maybe that’s why there are mixed reviews for them. long story short, Save the trouble and go somewhere else where they are more than willing to put in effort.Services: Pedicure, ManicureIm very disappointed with my visit today. Im very disappointed with my visit today. I am no longer coming back. The tech I had today did the bare minimum. I have gone to Essie sporadically over the last 8 years. In recent years, each experience has gotten worse and I’ve chosen not to support this business anymore. This last visit they told me it would be a 20 minute wait, which was no problem. After about 20 minutes, they sat me in a pedicure chair and let me soak. I sat for 45 minutes before someone checked in and began my service. The water was cold, no one had checked in, the massage chair wasn’t working, I was seconds away from getting up and leaving. I totally understand being busy, but if it was going to be an hour before the service started, I would rather them be upfront about the wait time. I chose the most basic pedicure, because I was already unhappy with my service and didn’t want to stay much longer. I got a gel pedicure and within DAYS my gel was coming off of my toes. As someone who gets gel on their toes every time, I know it should last at least 2-3 weeks. At this point I have had too many bad experiences to return. Hopefully this review helps improve the quality of their service.

Got a pedicure today at like noon and it’s still not dried. Complete waste of 50$ Maybe their manicures and other services are better but all of the polish on the shelves were chunky and thick and they sloppily glob on the polish so if you want to spend 50 dollars for thick bubbled pedicures then go off bestie! I brought in a picture of the style I wanted and they came out even better than the picture, absolutely amazing! The pedicure was also so relaxing! All the women who work there and very sweet too. I will definitely go back again.

It was my birthday and I REALLY needed my nails done. I went into this place and it was not busy so I thought I would get good service. Nope. Flies swarmed me non-stop to the point I was seriously so stressed. The nail talk wiped dead skin on my hand versus a towel…what normal people do. It was a very odd experience. When I was washing my hands at one point; the nail tech who let flies sit on her awhile while she killed about one or two …all while doing my nails…hands me a nail brush. As If I should should wash my hands and take stuff from someone…she should worry about moving her customers where flies are not near. I did the very minimum tip after this since I usually tip well; this service was awful. I had to fan flies off me when I was supposed to be relaxing and letting my nails dry. The staff joked about the flies saying they bother the “workers” yet I go to salons to relax. Horrible experience. I would have moved my client and had the other non busy employees (there were 2 when NO other clients) kill the flies.

I’ve been several times because of its convenient location but each time has been more of a disappointment. Today was the last straw. I told the nail tech (Ivan) to file only, not to cut. I was talking to a girlfriend who I was with when I felt a sharp pain and looked and he was digging the corners our and cutting them off… exactly what I did NOT want because of getting ingrown toenails from this before. I told him to stop and he didn’t do the other one, but he shouldn’t have done the first one to begin with. He didn’t do extra callous removal, which I asked for and paid for with the deluxe pedicure. He had said he could do the nail polish design I wanted but by the time it was time to polish he said he couldn’t do that unless I did gel. I didn’t want gel so I changed my design. He didn’t help me find the colors I wanted and laughed when I kept changing my mind because I was put on the spot of having to change polish at the end. Then he gave me a manicure and didn’t even massage my left hand & arm, after I’d asked for extra massage. That was the main reason I got a mani; I didn’t even want polish. The icing on the cake was that he SOAKED my pants. I had them rolled up mid-calf and he filled the bowl so high it was soaking the bottom edge of my Rolled up pants, and he kept splashing more water onto them each time he rinsed my feet. I left with soaking wet pants. I will never go back and wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.
