Booked a spa package for both myself and my husband for our honeymoon. I do want to point out that spa packages are non-refundable. I called back the same day to change the date, I had forgotten that we needed to leave early to the airport and was told that I would be given a gift card. That wasn’t going to work because I live in Colorado. Anyways, I was able to reschedule for another day during our time in Florida and it all worked out. My package included a massage, which was absolutely fabulous. I would highly recommend. I was having hip/ lower back pain and the massage helped alleviate that. I will be visiting again if I am ever in Jacksonville. I also received a age defy facial. The esthetician was very kind and informative. I think the age defy was too harsh for my face. I broke out and had irritation on my neck for three weeks. I did mention that my face felt like it was burning, but wasn’t sure if it was part of the process. I also enjoyed a foot massage (machine). It wasn’t my favorite. I felt that the machine could be a little rough on the feet and left our feet sore. While we were in there, we had complimentary wine and cheese/crackers. I would highly recommend booking a massage.

I booked a couples massage for my boyfriends birthday and it was amazing. I only wish the hour didn’t go by so fast, next time I’ll book an hour and a half because it was so nice and relaxing. They listened to the areas I wanted to focus more on. I booked a combo and it was the perfect combo of gentle and deep tissue. The prices were fair and the place was very nice and clean. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking. This was my first massage experience and now I want to come back weekly!

I was able to walk in and get a 60 minute massage within 15 minutes with Keisha. I was so pleased after driving over an hour for do a drop off procedure for my husband at the Mayo Clinic. So I was looking forward to just relax a little bit while waiting, and was was very impressed with the professionalism and care not only by Keisha but also the woman at the front desk who gave me great food recommendations while I wait. Keisha provided one of the most relaxing but also beneficial to my specific problem areas massage I’ve had in a long time!

It was my first full massage experience here in the states and I was not disappointed. They made me feel very comfortable and at ease. The private rooms are nice and spacious and they even have private sitting rooms. I felt very relaxed and the entire staff was kind, polite, and attentive. I would definitely go back. My only complaint is that they aren’t open on Fridays or weekends so it makes planning a group spa day a bit difficult.

I made an appointment for a couples massage for my wife’s birthday. My masseuse was Lana and she was amazing. If you tell them areas that you want them to focus on, they will put special attention to it and have you feeling brand new. We are definitely coming back.

The first thing I love about Essentials Massage is the consistent atmosphere in the lobby – it is beautiful and lends itself to the spa motif. Overall, my massage was wonderful – I really needed to address the stress I was carrying in my back and the aching I was feeling in my feet, and it did just that. I did have to ask my masseuse for less pressure – it was painful at some points. She initially obliged, but soon returned to painful pressure. I also agree with other in that it’s disappointing that you only get 50 minutes at most for an “hour” massage because they build in the time it takes for you to undress and even discuss your expectations. This is especially sad because massages were $25 when I first started visiting the company back in 2012. Lastly, the lady that booked my appointment and the lady who was at the desk when I arrived (I think it’s the same person)…it isn’t that they were UNfriendly, but their customer service approach could use improvement. I felt rushed. There was a different person at the desk when I left, and the way she engaged was perfect.
