Love my Lashes at Essentials Day Spa! Jennifer does a phenomenal job. She listens to her clients, too! I like a natural look so mink lashes are my favorite! Bye bye mascara and hello lovely lashes that feel and look fantastic! She also gives an incredible facial including a head and neck massage. 🙂

I absolutely love this spa. Jennifer and Michelle are amazing people and they are excellent at what they do. This is my favorite place to tan due to it being so close to my house and they have the most reasonable prices in Yuma. I recently got eye lash extensions and they are beautiful! I get compliments everywhere I go and I can leave my house without make up! They offer the best prices on lash extensions that I’ve seen anywhere in the area and they are amazing quality. I would highly recommend them to everyone!

I have nothing but good things to say about this place. Jennifer has done a great job with her business. Not only does she do a great job at everything she does, but she keeps conversation and makes you feel comfortable. She gives phenomenal back massages and is very professional. I also went in for eyebrow waxing and tent and she made them look so natural. She cares about all of her customers/clients and it shows. Reasonable prices and great quality!

I was given a gift certificate for Valentines day in 2016! I called to schedule an appointment for my free 60 minute custom facial, but later canceled because I was going to attend a wedding that day. I was told I would be called back to reschedule. I was informed my Monday-Friday 8-5 pm work schedule was going to be difficult to work around and the only day that could work would be a Saturday. They called back a couple of times forgetting that I work Monday-Friday and at some point canceling an appointment because the esthetician was sick.

I’ve been to several tanning salons over the years, and the tanning bed rooms at this location are so hot (even when turning the fan provided in the room on high)! It almost seems as if the vents are closed in the rooms where you tan. I realize tanning beds get hot, but like I said I’ve been to several other tanning locations and notice a huge difference here. Other than the fact that I think Essentials Day Spa needs to turn down their AC, this is a decent location for tanning.

CHOOSE A DIFFERENT SPA!!!!!!! I have never written a review prior to today as I have never felt so inclined to share my experience for the purpose of informing other consumers so that they may avoid the poor treatment or not be taken advantage of the way me and mother in law were today. My mother in law, Hazel, purchased and PAID IN FULL for two spa packages on 2/15/16 from Damon Ray with Advantage Marketing L.L.C. The expiration date of the spa package was 6/30/16, therefore, she called sometime in early June to ensure we booked our appointment prior to the expiration date at the end of June. The female (didn’t get her name) who answered the phone informed Hazel that there were no open appointments until August due to the high volume of customers the spa package had brought to Essentials Day Spa. Since there were no available appointments before 6/30/16, the female assured Hazel that they (Essentials Day Spa) would honor their promotional spa package on the date of the appointment made in August. Hazel then booked the appointment for 11:00 am on 8/6/2016. Today, her and I arrived at Essentials Day Spa using the instructions written on the promotional card given to Hazel by the female who booked the appointment in early June and WERE REFUSED THE SERVICE WE PAID FOR!!!!!! We walked into a rather warm waiting room at approximately 10:59 am and approached the female (didn’t get her name) at the front desk to check in for our 11:00 am appointment. She didn’t smile and was not very friendly right from the beginning of our encounter with her. We handed her the promotional card and she went to a back room for which I am assuming she went to talk to the owner or manager. When she returned she said, “This is expired and we only have two appointments today. Hazel is not one of them.” Hazel was very frustrated and insisted that she had made the appointment. The female said, “It wasn’t me and you are not in the system. If you made an appointment we would have called you yesterday and confirmed.” This argument went on a few minutes and ended in Hazel asking to speak to the owner/manager who was clearly available to talk to the female at the front desk because she went to the back room two times and could convey what the owner/manager had to say, but the owner/manager could not come speak with us??? We decided to wait for her and sat down in the warm waiting room. The female at the front desk waited a few minutes and then went to the back room again returning to tell us that the manager/owner would be busy until 12:30-1:00. I didn’t want to wait that long so I left my number and the female at the front assured me that the owner/manager would call me. Its 5:00 pm and I never received a phone call. The skimp amount of inventory available for purchase, the warm waiting room and the fact that, “there were only two appointments today and Hazel isn’t one of them,” are all indications that Essentials Day Spa is not doing well – customer service and honoring your word are key in business and especially in a retail business. I had planned to buy up for an additional massage and, if treated with courtesy, would have likely returned. My experience today was a sore disappointment and I sincerely hope that this review is considered in other consumers choice of a spa.

I went by and called and it appears you are out of business. I had tanning lotion with you and wonder if there is a way to get it back. I really would appreciate it. Thanks
