I’ve been going here for laser hair removal for a few months now, and everyone in the office has been so fantastic. They always make an effort to build personal relationships with their clients, and as a trans woman, I’ve never felt anything but fully supported by their whole team. (South End) Kelly is so amazing to work with, and she makes a sometimes uncomfortable and awkward process as painless as possible. Kat at the desk is a rockstar, and has been such a great ally in helping me get the procedures covered by my insurance as part of my medical transition. I have nothing bad to say, and will continue to recommend them to everyone I meet!

I’ve been going to Essentially Bare for over 10 years. Most recently, I’ve had really bad problems with maskne (I work at a hospital and must wear masks and respirators at all times) as well as significantly worsening melasma. It started to affect my confidence. Kelly tried different modalities to treat both, but I ultimately needed a more drastic treatment with Obagi NuDerm. They don’t carry the Rx kit at the clinic as they used to 5+ years ago, but Kelly knows what works on my skin, so they were able to order the kit for me. They even shipped it to my home!

never been here but one of there estheticians, jessica muñoz loves to leave very hateful and rude comments on peoples photos. i can’t believe that this place employs people who are old enough to know what to post online and know that it’s on there forever even if she deletes her comment accusing someone of drug use. it’s not a funny thing to joke about and it’s absolutely terrible to accuse someone of. i personally hope she decides to grow up and close the yearbook and not act like she’s in high school again.

I recently went to have a microdermabrasion facial with Kelly and it was first one I’ve had ever! She explained everything to me and after she gave me a complimentary anti-aging mask. I had been here a couple times before last year. I had at first some fillers and I was very happy with the results. I then in November 2017 had my first ever IPL Laser facial and I saw immediate results. It took off a lot of my brown spots I had on my face. I went back for the follow up 2 weeks later on the IPL and Kelly went over my face once more with the laser. My skin felt so soft, like butter! I had a very large spot on my cheek that is gone now from this one IPL I had. I just made another appointment for the IPL with Kelly the owner as I want to keep up with my skin at my age. (50’s).. Everyone here is very nice and very professional. The girls here are very good at what they do and the pricing is very fair as well.
