I’m so glad I found Essential Nail Spa! I went yesterday to get my nails filled and a pedicure before we head out to Barbados tomorrow! I love that they weren’t rushed and took their time making sure everything was perfect! I don’t do designs or anything on my nails…pretty basic. But they look great and so do my toes! I’ll definitely be returning’.

I recently visited this salon for the first time a few days ago. A close family member referred me to this location with raving reviews. She told me I had to book with Emmy, and I am so happy I did. Emmy was the most affectionate, attentive and detail-oriented nail technician that I have ever had and to top it off her work is beautiful. She provided me with a gel pedicure and a new set of tips with dip. I was blown away by her quality of work. It was by far the best experience I have ever had and I refuse to go anywhere else. If you are looking for a new nail tech Emmy is the one for you.

Critical: QualityI honestly do not recommend this place. After going to the same nail salon over in Lewisville for over 6 years I finally decided to try something closer to my home since it’s such a far drive to Lewisville. I don’t have tips on my nails and I have had 3 nails break since I got my nails done at this place just doing every day tasks such as scratching my back. I’ve never had my own nails break like this. It’s honestly very frustrating because now I have to get tips on my nails so my own can grow out again.Service: ManicureI honestly do not recommend this place. I honestly do not recommend this place. After going to the same nail salon over in Lewisville for over 6 years I finally decided to try something closer to my home since it’s such a far drive to Lewisville. I don’t have tips on my nails and I have had 3 nails break since I got my nails done at this place just doing every day tasks such as scratching my back. I’ve never had my own nails break like this. This nail salon has new owners and has significantly gone down hill. I want to love it, but have had bad experiences every time I’ve come in since the change. Today, the pedicure water was cold. I immediately asked for them to make it hotter. They didn’t, I asked again, they then pulled buckets from the back to transfer water from my pedicure bowl to another and then brought bowls of warm water from the back for my pedicure. Sad part is, after all that it STILL was cold. Then, I chose a nail polish color that was literally see through, they pressured me to pick another color that was supposed to not be see through, they put it on and it was a completely different color. I will not be back.

I usually wait till I get home but this sorry excuse of a nail shop did it for me. From the WORST pedicure I’ve ever had to the sorry excuse of my nails that sadly I have to go to another shop to fix mind you, this is after they tried to fix them with their dried up nail polish!!! The worst customer service ever. Save your time, energy and money and find a shop that cares to do what you’re paying for! Please make sure your customers do not understand your language before you start talking about them, end of rant
