I had a “problem skin facial” today here. The facial itself was fantastic and addressed my acne really well. The practitioner was polite, knowledgeable, and attentive to my problem areas. I was a bit overwhelmed with how many questions she asked me about my skin, my diet, my exercise habits, and many other aspects of my life. She told me she thinks I may have a medical problem related to my acne and gave me diet recommendations. I didn’t ask any questions and wasn’t necessarily looking for advice or medical recommendations. I have had acne for almost my entire life and I am aware of what causes my acne to ebb and flow. If I had asked questions, this information would have been helpful. But I was there to relax and get my face the help I know it needs. I left feeling anxious, overwhelmed, and guilty for my eating choices. I think it would have been more appropriate and respectful for the practitioner to ask me if I had any questions or if I was open to talking about diet or health. What if I had trauma around these topics and wasn’t open to talking about them? Also I was recommended products, which was very kind. But I was never asked if I wanted them, they were just added to my bill. I could have said something but I was a bit overwhelmed. All of the facial elements were fantastic, however, the interactions were well-intentioned, but a bit intrusive. The questions I was asked, such as “what do you eat in a day?”, with each item being judged, did not make for a comfortable or relaxing experience. Unfortunately, due to this, I will not be returning. If you are looking to get lots of advice about how to live your life to solve your acne, this person is very passionate about these conversations. If you’re looking for a relaxing facial that addresses your skin’s issues but also makes you feel emotionally safe and like you are enough, I’m not sure this is necessarily the place for you. I would advise the practitioner to think about how they could be more trauma informed and customize their approach to each person- maybe asking them if they were open to talking about solutions relating to diet, exercise, medical history, and more. Some people are there just to get a facial and relax.

I had a wonderful experience with Kellie. She immediately knew exactly what my skin needed and was very gentle and thorough. She kindly answered all my questions and explained things in detail. Her studio is calm and well organized. She sells her own brand of skincare products. I was in Pittsfield on vacation and popped in for a treatment but I would gladly make the 3 hour trek to see her again!

It was an amazing experience. I had my hair colored with with Yuri and she took the time to ask me what color I wanted and she helped me make the perfect choice. My hair feels like silk now. To begin, I felt safe and comfortable with the cleanliness, professionalism, and kind attention given to my concerns as I had not had a facial in over 5 months since sheltering in place due to COVID-19. Next, I had a wonderful facial and relaxing experience. Best of all, the next morning, I saw improvements in my skin, so I plan to return again soon.

Gel polish manicures are avg. to a few $$ more for like services in the area. Very professional/pleasant on the phone, but when I arrived for services I was curtly informed that gel polish removal is an additional $10. The nail technician was nice but a little inexperienced. Nail shaping/filing was okay but there was a scrap of polish on one nail not noticed until I left the salon. Edges are not smooth–gel or top coat finish doesn’t appear to be evenly applied and there is a bubble in the polish on one of the nails. The “spa” atmosphere…rooms are small with a separate general area for showering/dressing. Three manicure stations and two pedicure stations. Decor is open with a long corridor lined with message rooms…nice but lacking the upscale/resort feel.

My daughter had really bad acne including blocked pores. The owner did an amazing job with her facial and recommended that we use her branded cleanser and moisturizer. Six months later and still no more blocked pores! Very happy and relieved parent!

Amazing place to get just about any service I was looking for. Massage was excellent and the spa are is quiet and elegant. Very pleasant. They also do laser services and botox. I had my hair done after my spa services and the stylist was very knowledgeable. Overall, I would definitely rate this spa a five star!

No experience because we were unable to reach anybody to make appointments for the services we wanted. Called, ring no answer no voicemail. Tried to make an appointment online, service was unavailable. Called back because maybe we didn’t let it ring long enough to get a voicemail service. Nope, RNA.
