I started getting my hair done by Gabby, Betty, and Susan, they are all wonderful stylists and am super pleased with my color and cut as always. Most recently Susan colored my daughter’s and it turned out amazing! She is always super friendly and knowledgeable and professional! I would highly recommend Susan, she is absolutely amazing!!!!

Susana-Studio #13 is very knowledgeable and an expert with choosing and knowing exactly what hair color and cut I want. I have been seeing her for 3 years and followed her to 3 different locations. This was such a wonderful hair dying experience. Susan is incredible. It feels like she really cares about my hair. Like she cares about hair in general. It feels like she sees the beauty in your hair and she just wants to help you take care of your hair so it can shine as much as you want it to. ✨️ I had originally had my hair dyed in another salon and it didn’t come out like I wanted it at all. So going in, I was a little apprehensive, but Susan really blew me away. It came out perfect. Exactly what I wanted. Best hair experience I’ve ever had. I’m excited to go back for my next color.

Susana from Essence Salon Studio cut my boyfriend’s hair this afternoon and she did such an amazing job! He has *very* thick hair that hadn’t been cut in several months (and his hair grows fast!) and he’s pretty particular about the way he likes it cut (scissor-cut and blended seamlessly) but where other hairdressers have struggled, Susana was totally unfazed. She asked for his input, listened, and applied it while also using her professional experience to go above and beyond what he expected. Not only is Susana super welcoming and professional, but her prices are more than reasonable even for an “ok” haircut which is far below what you’ll be getting when you see her; the pride and care that she puts into her work is worth so much more than she charges so please make sure to tip her what she deserves! 🙂 We’re very happy to have found Susana and you will be, too!

I was definitely not happy with my experience with Susana. Not only did it take her a month to schedule my appointment but when she did my hair, the job she did with my color was horrible to say the least. She left my hair almost orange when I asked for a high balayage. I have had my hair balayaged before so I know that what I was asking for was realistic. It’s like she didn’t know what she was doing. She had to lift my bangs twice and still did a horrible job. That same day I asked if she can correct the color which she agreed to but then bailed the day that we had scheduled for the color correction. I asked that she at least refund me for the poor job she did and instead of making her mistake right, she blocked me on Venmo and refused to return my calls or text. I highly suggest you stay away from this salon, I understand that all hair is different but the least she could have done is correct her mistake.
