only gets one star for cleanliness. i went for a sns mani on my lunch break (i work in commack) and i chose them based on reviews. the set LOOKED great however, two nails broke within a week. i called and asked if i could come in to have them fixed and they said yes, then i got there and they turned me away because it was too busy and no one was available. i went back to have them repaired later on that day and they took me, i was charged for the repairs, and then a third nail broke. did i mention the full set cost me $50? overpriced. so all in all with tip i spent about $70 for a full set, repairs and tip. wild. not a good set that i got and i don’t know if its their quality of work or the brand they use but nevertheless, i won’t be back. pink nails in farmingdale is my regular spot and i will continue to go there

Worst place ever ,very bad pedicure , bad toenails cut ,every one different shape! The person how took care of me don’t want to do it,.the owner look everything and didn’t care !put one coat of polish , didn’t want to put one more ,and I ask again and she put after did the French tip!! Couple days after the color pink disappeared!!!the French tip started cracking,they have a very cheap and old polishes . Don’t go there will be waist of money!!

Beautiful salon. Excellent massage. Gave it a 3 because the lady doing my nails nicked my nail while cutting my cuticle. When I went to move the chair to sit to dry my toes, since it wasn’t already moved for me, I messed up the polish on my toe. It was fixed but to hear the huffing and puffing prior is not pleasant.

They always do an amazing job. If you want an amazing pedicure, you have to come here. I never feel rushed and they give great foot massages also. I drive 25 minutes to come here.

Best nail salon around! I have been going to Essence Nails for about 3 years now. I used to live in Commack but moved to West Islip two years ago and still make the drive to get my nails done. Well worth the travel. The staff is very professional. The owner is one of the nicest people. It is super clean. I usually use Clara and Helen but all of the staff are very good!

Critical: Professionalism, Quality, ValueI have never felt so rushed while having my nails done. I went because this place was recommended and I am so disappointed and angry. I left with wet nails, no drying polish was put on, when I went outside some type of spray was used but only sprayed on 2 nails. All I was told was be careful. I understand precautions must be taken but when I was there it was myself and 2 other guests. What a waste of money. How do you send customers out with wet nails to be ruined.
