I’m so grateful I found this place and especially Brian who apparently is the only nail tech in Portland that can do hard gel nails ! I must have called 20 different places and I was getting frustrated. He understood exactly what I needed and delivered! I’m so thankful and I look forward to coming back soon!

I came here from Vermont read all the reviews and decided not to listen to the most recent negative one. I very glad I made that choice as everyone was extremely friendly and welcoming. I got the deluxe pedicure and it was absolutely wonderful. While my lady was getting a manicure I sat I’m the massage chair. i have no complaints wonderful service. Wonderful job essence nails thank you for your service.

Nightmare this place, I had a bad experience with this lady who did my nails, she was so mean, disrespect. Her name was Anna. Today was my last day never again. I never written a bad review but for this lady she needs one. She treated me bad, unprofessional. So rude, so rush through everything, when I asked to clean my nails she got angry and started talking louder…if I could give negative stars, I would. All I asked for was a clean polish… the lady who did my nails ANNA straight up said hope im not going to see here again… DON’T let ANNA do you nails if you accidentally walk in this place. Polin was the girl who worked on my nails. Loved the art. This cost me $47 was $10 more than regular dip. The only advice I would say to you as a costumer is ask for the price and the advice for the owner make sure that if the costumer is requesting something different to be transparent and let them know before you start the work.

I can say I will not be returning to this nail salon. I haven’t got my nails done in years since today is my birthday wanted to get them done. I went in asked for mani pedi French tip didn’t realize I had to tell them I wanted a full set French the one guy seemed annoyed was rough on my nails especially my thumb I banged it couple months and the nail fell off so it was still pretty sensitive. After was all done it cost me 100$ for Botched nails . There was lady next to me getting hers done I could see she was not happy with the way the guy was doing her nails . Wanted a nice relaxing nail day for it to be messed up .

While the quality and experience were good as always, my daughter and I felt pressured into the gel nail polish. I declined once, my daughter declined twice and the employee found the matching gel color for her. Transparency is key as our pedicures were $17 more per person with the gel (we got the $31 pedicure and were charged $48 PP). I was a bit frustrated as it felt pushed on us. We haven’t been in a couple of years favoring a more local place and will likely not return.
