Positive: Professionalism, Quality, ValueWhen you come into Escape Day Spa, you get the feeling of relaxation. The owners are so welcoming. I’ve been going there for a few years now and I am VERY particular not only about who takes care of my hands and feet but how they take care of them. Jackie is always so sweet and cheerful, she sees me coming and gives me that look, “What design or color choices do you have for me”. LOL. Sometimes I give her challenging concepts to keep her on her toes. My young daughter loves it too, Jackie always makes her feel included and gives her the same type of treatment. I recommend to always make an appointment for Jackie, especially if its a weekend. When you come into Escape Day Spa, you get the feeling of relaxation. The owners are so welcoming. I’ve been going there for a few years now and I am VERY particular not only about who takes care of my hands and feet but how they take care of them. Jackie is always so sweet and cheerful, she sees me coming and gives me that look, “What design or color choices do you have for me”. LOL. Critical: Professionalism, QualityI was coming here for a few months, mostly for the convenience. But my last two times made me realize I no longer want to support this business. Talking openly about their political views, and talking negatively about Dr. Fauci (the context of the conversation made it very clear they have no idea what they were talking about). The last couple times, and now that I’ve been to another place I’ve realized their services either felt super rushed, or I had a manicure take 2 hours to be done. No mater the time, the manicure would chip within the week. Which was really disappointing. I’m not sure if it’s the products they use, or they are rushed. Their customer service is okay, but it definitely feels forced and not genuine. I’m so glad I found a new place that gets a mani and pedi done under two hours, and lasts 2+ weeks. I’m in full support of having your own political views, but as a business owner I would be careful of expressing them openly. As far scientific topics, I would stick to your own profession. It raises questions on what other health practices are not followed if you disagree with basic scientific principles, like information changing when we know more as data is collected. I wish you the best as someone who also runs a business. I was coming here for a few months, mostly for the convenience. But my last two times made me realize I no longer want to support this business. Talking openly about their political views, and talking negatively about Dr. Fauci (the context of the conversation made it very clear they have no idea what they were talking about). Scheduled an appointment and told them what services I requested, got a mediocre pedicure and when it was time to do my nails, the tech tried to change my mind because I’m assuming she was not familiar with ombré (which is why I asked about it when I called) I spent 2 hours in the salon and the tech asked me to move chairs & “wait one second” 3 times until I finally said I would pay for the pedicure and leave.
