I usually don’t expect much when I visit a barber shop out-of-state, away from home base. Many shops, albeit being cool spaces and some much needed shop talk, seem to lack precision and expertise. Daniel and the other gent’s at Ernest Barber Shop are the exception. My haircut was exactly what I asked for. My beard grows unevenly, and I rarely get a beard trim, but Daniel delivered the BEST beard trim ever; he understood the growth patterns, tightened it up, and did so without losing the shape or character. Daniel is the most professional barber I have ever used and he is truly a good guy. He has been my barber for several years and will have my business as long as I live in the Shoals. You simply cannot find the same skill level at a franchise hair salon. His new shop is conveniently located and has a great atmosphere.
