I went to Erica’s Salon and Tanning in Elgin SC – I showed her (Meg was the stylist I saw) a picture (which I will put in the comments for reference) told her I wanted this or as close as I could get (now keep it mind I knew it probably would take more than one visit because of how platinum it is) we talked and she mentioned doing low lights first which was fine and we went over pricing she said it would be $140-$150 no problem. I went to the salon the day of my appointment (this is probably two -three weeks ago now) I did not get low lights that day instead she bleached and toned my hair? She also cut my hair. When she got done my hair was white and yellow—I assumed that it would “calm down” (lol). When I asked her when I should come back because I assumed this would be a several step process she said, “oh you’ll know” ….what? I came home and over the next several days my hair did not calm down and by this time I am freaking out. So we go back to the salon Britt tells her how upset I am and she offers to fix it…fine. She also tells Britt she charged me less than what she should have…she charged me $155(not including her tip) to bleach my hair. She also gives me two purple shampoos both of which turn my damn hair a green/grayish color. So by this time I’m done so done. I’m not going back I don’t care who offers to fix it. I then paid someone else to actually fix it. I’ll have to go back in 8 weeks and we will either go lighter or darker no problem. Not only did the stylist I went to the second time fix my hair she literally explained every step. Every single one. My hair is back to normal-i don’t care what I have to pay this new stylist is amazing!! So Brittany goes back up to the original salon and talks to someone about a refund because we’ve had so many issues and we’ve already had someone else fix my hair. The stylist she talked to “just couldn’t believe it” and “ Meg was one of their best” and I’m sure she is I’ve seen some pictures of her work BUT she messed my hair up so I don’t care about her other work at this point…anywho who ever it was tells Britt someone would call her…no one does. She calls and talks to the owner today who now tells her “they don’t do refunds”, I had box dye on my hair and that takes time to fix (which is 100% false—the one and only time I did that was about 5 years ago and I had that corrected), that she was there and it looked fine ( this is also false-my stylist Meg was there as well as another stylist and her client, their was a client under the dryer, a lady I believe to be my stylist mother —I believe that’s what she told me—her sister and a girl name Lauren not sure who she was) Erica the owner of the salon was not there. I knew that I was probably not going to get the picture I showed her because it’s kind of a lot ya know and I understand things take time especially extreme things,however ,she didn’t say hey I can’t do this but I can do this or this but if you still want the picture here are our options for that. Nothing. And now they just don’t do refunds? I’m sorry that’s unacceptable.

Awesome friendly place, called first to see how busy they were and if they’d accept walk in from men. Last place I went ruined the haircut leaving the fade unfinished and not even shaving my neck. Miss Pat had a challenge but corrected all of it right away! I will return.
