I think the quality of massage here is fantastic but I agree with one of the reviews about never being able to get somebody on the phone… to book/cancel/reschedule. I feel like after three calls and two voicemails within the last two days to reschedule an appointment somebody should have gotten back to me by now. I am trying to free up the massage therapist’s schedule by giving days notice so that somebody else can take the time of my current appointment.

I don’t think I’ve ever written a review in my life but I was inspired to share after having an exceptional experience today at equilibrium. I had a massage and facial with Victoria and it was a totally lovely experience. My massage was heavenly and she was incredibly knowledgeable about skin care. Can’t wait to go back!

I’ll start off with the positives. The facility is beautiful! My massage & facial were very relaxing! My masseuse / esthetician was nice. Now to the part where I’m leaving a 2 star review. I filled out all the paperwork before hand, where I noted that I have rosacea and listed several products that make my skin flare up. I also mentioned my rosacea directly to the esthetician. She responded by telling me not to worry, that they have gentle products that they use. After my appointment, I was given samples of the products used. As I began to read the ingredients on them, I noticed one item which I said I can’t use on my skin noted several times in the ingredients as well as another ingredient that I absolutely have to avoid. She saw me looking at the ingredients, and said that propylene glycol, an ingredient that I completely avoid, is in it, but just a a small amount and that most products have it. Needless to say, my skin looked horrific for the next few days, after those products were used on my skin.
