First time I ever went here the person didn’t show up for my spray tan. I decided to give them another shot a year later and very disappointing. I purchased the “buy one get one 50% off package” and did not get 50% off the second package. After using only 85 minutes the first month, I was told that the previous employee had checked me out incorrectly (for the unlimited package) and was known to do that. I asked “how can we rectify this since I have no control over how the employee checked me out”. I was told there is nothing that can be done by her or the owner. I explained this was my first time tanning in a year and lived over an hour away so there was no way I would ever purchase an unlimited package, and still NOTHING. purchase a package at your own risk. So much for supporting this small business, I’ll go back to LA TAN.

Even before I worked at equator they have ALWAYS had the best beds in town I have worked at other locations in the area as well but equator has always topped them all. No appointments needed like some,friendlystaff and I love that their bulbs are a bronzing bulb in the 3x and stand up bed most places typically carry the bulbs in all their beds that we carry in our regular(lowest) level bed. Come in and check us out!! **HIGHLY RECOMMENDED**

The tanning service at Equator tan is average, but I still enjoyed tanning at there… However, the time frames they have posted on their website, as well as on the FRONT DOOR of their establishment, are NOT correct.

I wouldn’t trust them with your minute calculations! I would only recommend monthly or weekly packages. I went in a few days ago surprised to hear I had minutes left over from a previous purchase and 4 days in a row was told different (and very wrong) numbers of remaining minutes. Each day I was told the manager would fix it and a note would be left. This never happened. Instead, each day I had to repeat the situation to 4 different employees with the last one OPENLY ADMITTING something is wrong with their system and they “just need a new one.” Thankfully the employees still let me tan but I’m super frustrated and will take my business elsewhere. Equator Tan has lost my trust and my business!

Great staff, good prices! Beds are nice quality, however I do recommend the standup if you are a bigger person. The lay down bed has good heat but a little cramped. Over all would highly recommend coming here!

My favorite place to tan♥️ love the staff and cleanliness of the facility. The girls that work there treat you like family when you come in. It’s a little bit of a drive to get to their riverside location but I love that they have two locations one on the south side of town and the other off of Riverside the Riverside location stays open late. It’s most definitely worth the drive to either or. They were faithful to their customers by allowing me to keep my minutes that I may have lost through COVID-19 shut down. Whatever this owner is doing to get good employees is working because I have yet to run into a the snobby teenager working the front counter like most of the tanning salons I’ve been too! Great work girls keep up the good work!

Always tell them you want a bed on the right side of the building to get the better quality beds. The ones on the left side do not tan me at all and are crappier. You will find a lot of parts on the bed will be broken, sometimes fans, radios, face lamps. Cleaning of the beds are mediocre. Don’t go here if your allergic to dogs, they let this little-ish white dog walk around during the day and it isn’t always nice. Also you may trip on it’s chew toy laying around.
