We are a Tanning and Beauty Service Salon. We offer UV Tanning Beds, Versa Spa Spray Booth Tanning, Mani/Pedi’s and Permanent Make-up (eyebrows, Eyeliner and Lips). We have been in business since 2003. Located under Ann’s Bar 2783 South Park Road. Lower Level (next to Dunkin’ Donuts).

I will start with the positive the employees are wonderful and it is clean. The negative I never went into a bed that I didn’t have to come back out and tell them it wasn’t turning on, 6 times tanning there with a package. The beds are very old and all the buttons are worn off. I tanned 6 times in 3 weeks and got barely any color, this was with lotion. I went to Suntastic for 1 session and got more color that one time than 6 there. The front door is really broke. This place could be great if someone but someone into repairs and new beds.

I tanned here for years prior to landing a job at another local tanning salon, and the Equator did not meet my expectations. The staff changed frequently, but they were almost always unfriendly and looked annoyed when customers came in. I did like the specials and pricing they had, and the bed that plays music. However, the customer experience and service is the most important part of a business like this, and this is where the Equator lacks.
