Critical: Communication, Professionalism, QualityI found this place on Groupon and booked with Morgan. First impression, clean, friendly and professional- I paid for a full color, shampoo, cut and blow dry. – first thing Morgan said “you only need a root touch up not a full color” I said ok- I’m super easy going and low maintenance plus I’m not a professional in this field so the hair stylist should know best. Then I had asked for deep conditioning due to my hair being dry recently caused by a medication shampoo. She had mentioned paying $25 extra for the treatment and I agreed. Once the color processed we shampoo’d and did the conditioning treatment. Then we were ready for cut and blow dry. She put heat protectant and many different oils, Too many oils I thought. As she is blow drying my hair it was so greasy it wouldn’t even move then she tried fixing it with dry shampoo and when I told her it felt greasy she continued to say dry shampoo will fix it when she finished blow drying. And when I told her it was too greasy for the second time she said “I know, I thought your hair was more course but realized when blow drying it that it’s actually curly but fine, that was my mistake” but proceeded to tell me “dry shampoo will fix it” I had to ask her to wash it out because it was beyond greasy- nothing was going to fix it and I’m not paying to get my hair done to spend 3 hours on a salon to walk out with hair I would have to wash as soon as I got home bc of how gross it felt. So then she washes it out along with the leave in deep conditioner treatment that I paid an extra $25 and she doesn’t reapply it then blow drys my hair then straightens it. I found this place on Groupon and booked with Morgan. Critical: ProfessionalismDo not schedule with Morgan! She is unprofessional and cancels appointments because she is ” not in her right mindspace” this salon is losing money by this persons unprofessional approach. I couldnt believe it when I actually met someone else that had the same bad experience. She says Morgan text her at 3am to cancel!
