I have been on a hunt for a nail tech since I moved to Austin. Today I took a shot and looked at this place. I read through reviews and saw that Becky was recommended by a few other clients. When I called Becky got on the phone and she started to figure out when she could get me in. I was able to come in the same day which is not usual for her schedule, but it worked out for me today! The moment I sat down Becky was amazing. I showed her what I was looking for and she started asking questions about what I wanted. Right away I felt the vibe was great and she was so happy to help and be sure I was happy with my set. I’m so happy I finally found my nail tech. Also, i got a pedicure and since she couldn’t do it for me. Bob did it for me and he was just as great. She even took the time to match the color for my toes.

I was not very happy with the service provided. I asked for very simple acrylics and received the most basic nail care I have ever experienced for such an expensive price. There was no nail care done at all. I was given tips and acrylic and that was all. No trimming, filing, buffing, cuticle care, nothing. There was a point where my nail tech took a file to wet acrylic and it moved and ruined the acrylic application. She didn’t even buff the mistake or shape that sharp piece afterwards. I had to fix the shape and sharp edges at home. Another point, the tech who did my nails was very rough and twisted my wrist in a way that was very painful I had to adjust my whole body to accommodate the position she had me in. I was very disappointed because the location was highly recommended and had great reviews. Over all 135 for below average nail care was not worth it and I will not be returning.

So I changed to something simple. She seemed upset still. Several of my nails are crooked. None of the French tips are centered. There are lots of little bubbles on the nails too. $90 on nails I do not like at all. If it was too hard or too much someone else should have stepped in or she could have let me know and I would’ve just settled for a solid color. I live in the neighborhood and have been coming to Envy Nails for pedicures for almost three years. It’s always a great experience! They do a great job and are always kind and attentive. It’s nothing particularly special…. But if you want a solid pedicure for a good price, this is your place.

Although I love getting my nails done, I have not been able to again since coming to this place. The workers were very nice, and they did a lovely job on the design of my nails, but all of my nails fell off within 3 days of me getting them and I’m not sure why. My natural nail was also ripped down much more than when I usually got acrylics. I would love to go again, of my nails lasted longer.

I came here based on the reviews and my experience did not disappoint! I was able to get my pedicure right away as a walk-in and got great friendly service! I even ended up changing my color after the first coat and my tech was totally understanding and it was no hassle at all. Will be coming back!
