I’ve been coming to lady Jade here for a couple of years now. Why do I continue because she quick and she does a good job. She gets close to the cuticles with gel polish. I’ve been to a lot of salons, from New Bern to Morehead, I hate when they leave to much space between the polish and cuticle, looking like you had your nails done a week ago. Lady Jade doesn’t do that and the gel polish last the full 2 weeks! I think a lot of people misinterpret her broken English for an attitude. I’m a simple customer, but when I want something done a little dramatic, I show pictures and tell her exactly what I want. Yes, she not a perfectionist all the time but she still does a good job in a timely manner. She is the only one working there, so book an appointment!

I came in on 10/10/2022, it was completely empty in the salon. I came in to get a set redo from another salon so i had to soak off the nails. The beginning was pleasant, some small talk here and there. After the the tips placed I told her that the edge of one of my nails was crooked I asked her to fix it she got an attitude and tried telling me that’s how my nail was even though it was the tip was crooked not the nail. I asked for a french tip with a solid base color rather then the opaque pink they would usually use and the lady said “no this will look more natural” when she started filing the acrylic she was burning my nails from filing so hard and filing too much. My thumb nail was still crooked at the end so i asked her to file the tip to make it not crooked and she tried arguing with me saying that’s how my nail was. I ended up giving up on french tip and just went with a solid color. I left with very thick and bowed nails that hurt that I ended up filing down myself.

I have never done a review of any business but today’s experience was so bad that I felt I had to do so. I was the only client and Jade was the only person working. She burnt me several times with the drill and the nail file, when I pulled away instead of seeing if I was okay or saying “I am am sorry.” She became obviously frustrated. She was ROUGH and hurt me several times. I am not a sensitive, prissy type of person and have been told that I have a high pain tolerance by doctors. To top things off, she shaved my nails down to a nub! I no longer have any tips or length. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. Owner was not nice and did an awful job!

Critical: Professionalism, Quality, ValuePictured is the designed that I wanted versus what I got. I spent right under 2 hours in the salon. They are way to thick and misshapen. They weren’t filled all the way down so they look like they’ve been grown out for weeks mind you this is a fresh set. Do not recommend. I will be getting my money back. Both myself and daughter got our nails done. I got a ombré fullset, and let me just tell you ladies this place is THE PLACE to go to. My daughter got fullset with some more youthful nail design. Super complicated to do but they did an amazing job at it! These nail technicians are artist, talented and very professional! My daughter also got her brows waxed. And we love how they look now. The girl touched them up perfectly. This will be the only nail salon I go to from now on. The website says they open at 9 am. The business door says 9:30 am. At 9:30 am, the business continued to be closed. Called the business number several times and no answer despite appearance of someone there.
