I did not even have to go in the salon to have a bad experience. I heard great things about the place from some friends who have been going there for years and was really looking forward to trying it out. But after I had already confirmed my appointment (per their request) and received multiple texts saying they’d see me soon, I get a call not an hour before my appointment saying that they have to cancel it. Instead of trying to get me with someone else today, as it was their mistake, they try and reschedule me for Friday at the earliest or some other day. I work and go to school and it was so fortuitous that they had an appointment available today when I was actually free.I have been trying to find a permanent salon in Fayetteville and with all the good things I heard about this place, I was hoping it would be the one. Boy was I wrong. I cannot say worse things about a place that would treat new customers this way. I do not care how good the stylists are. They will not be receiving my business.

Since my hairstylist of many years moved to the UK, I was in need of a new hair stylist. I searched online for a hair salon with positive reviews. After reading a couple good reviews about Enve salon, I called and scheduled an appointment to have my hair cut and colored. I was paired with Jamie. I made sure to arrive with images of color that I liked and she assured me that it would not be any problem to replicate on my hair. In fact, I really only needed my roots done, the length was already a color I liked. Unfortunately, my experience was really disappointing.

I’ve gone here for years, and after moving from Fayetteville a few years back, I still drive back to see Arwen. The stylists know their stuff and regularly do training to keep their skills as sharp as their scissors. They have complimentary beverages including beer and wine (nothing fantastic, but free), though I am a bit of a snob and keep some Scotch and a glass in the back. Prices are what you’d expect from a quality salon, so if you’re used to chain barber locations, you might face some sticker shock. It’s worth it for the quality, in my opinion.

I adore Enve. Amanda has been my stylist for a couple years now and has done cuts, colors and extensions for me. I’ve had short hair, long hair, blonde and brunette hair. She always listens to what I describe, consults based on my face shape and style and then makes me feel gorgeous.
