Critical: Professionalismwent to to this salon recently I have been here several times in the past, I went for a wash and set and trim, my hair is naturally very thick, when it was time to blow out my hair the stylist asked me do I speak spanish. I said no intentionally to listen to her bad mouth several clients in the salon including myself due to my hair being ” too much”. As a stylist that is your chosen job to style the hair without complaining about it. Very poor customer service to make a client feel uncomfortable and hear about other people who have no idea. I got my hair washed, straightened and dried. Now let me start with the good things- My hair was dyed red and the red was beautiful. I got this dyed in June 2018 and there is still red in my hair now! My hair was also beautifully straight. And they had very fair pricing. Now for the not so good. Number one, I was left under the dryer for a very long time, to the point the metal clips in my hair starting burning my hair and scalp. Also while straightening my hair- the hair dresser was very aggressive. And my last complaint is the the people didn’t really talk to me throughout. It was cold- and very mechanical like. My hair also smelled BURNED. I had to buy very scented shampoo to get the smell out. And my hair started breaking after it- I will also say that I believe they relaxed my hair without telling me because of the way my hair started growing in. Overall I think there is probably a better place to go- but if you want a really good dye and are okay with not really being talked to, this is the place.

Nice salon and conveniently located. Organized and respectful. Service all hair types from my observation/opinion. Parking is on street so careful for those who are not very good at parallel. I go on the weekends so it’s usually quiet not so much chatting while getting service done. Wait time is not too bad when you make appointments or call ahead. Definitely recommend this place to anyone.

I’ve always gone here and never had a problem until recently. These people do not care about your hair, do not go here. They leave you under the dryers for way too long, to the point where I developed a huge blister on my scalp and didn’t realize it until later in the evening. You’d think a salon that multiple people go to, the workers would actually care about their customers. I’d give no stars if I could, $40 down the drain.

I don’t know if anyone remembers when Enve used to be next door to the store (there is currently another shop there). The owner was a Jamaican/Dominican woman. She used to have my hair on point. So when the new owners took over, I trusted them because they used to work for the old owner. I was a faithful patron. UNTIL THAT DAY HAPPENED.

I have been going to Enve salon now for over 8 years and they haven’t disappointed yet. The atmosphere is incredible, they make you feel like family right away. You build relationships and real friendships. I recommend this place to everyone. Thank you Nina and Johanna and all staff for an exceptional work!!
