Keep in mind reading reviews that each stylist here is an independent business and rents their space! I saw Shondra, was a little unimpressed that she was late, however once we got started she was fantastic. Listened well to what I wanted, asked questions to clarify before we did anything permanent, and I left with a neat trim and wonderful style.

Madison Mason is the absolute best! I went to another stylist at the 82nd street location and got my hair butchered. … Madison is so professional, she just fixed my hair perfectly! ! Madison is located at the Slide location! ! I will drive back to Lubbock anytime I need my hair done! She took the time to listen to me and she was sincerely concerned with how upset I was. She is truly a gifted and unselfish lady! She is such a blessing! Thank you Madison!!

I had asked for a suggestion, since my hair color continues to wash out of my hair after 3 weeks of getting in done, any hair stylist would have offered help on fixing, this is her response: any kind of shampoo you buy at a grocery store/drug store doesn’t have the proper ph balance for color treated hair. You have to use a professional shampoo for color treated hair.

I was recommended by a coworker to get my hair done by Tiffany. She was really nice but her services was not at all wonderful. Before I got my hair done by her, my hair was a 2 colored brassy brown blonde with blonde strands in parts of my hair( it was a hot mess because I did it myself as a last resort and I didn’t even know what I was doing) anyway, I asked her I wanted one color all over; the same color as one of my blonde strands. The whole time she was doing my hair, I was feeling excited because 1. My hair was going to be fixed. and 2. It’s going to the right blonde I wanted. When it was time to see the finished results, I was both relieved and upset at the same time. I was relieved because my hair was finally one color all over and upset because it wasn’t blonde like I hoped it would be. It was freaking brown…I told her I wanted it to be lighter and her response was that the brown was going to fade and that I should come back next time to get it lightened. After a day or two, I texted her because I just couldn’t get passed my hair being brown and asked her to fix it. She apologized and asked me to come in on a Wednesday. She was suppose to tell me what time after she got back to her studio but she never told me anything. So Tuesday came around and I asked her what time should I come in on Wednesday and she never replied. I could have bother more but after her no replies, I just felt that if I went back in to redo my hair, it would’ve came out a disappointment again due to her being annoyed with me.(who knows) She definitely lost a client. I still can’t believe I paid $135 for a color I could’ve done myself using box dye.

So I wrote a review for this salon and the stylist I had used in said salon. Well apparently they only like to receive good reviews and report a review if it doesn’t gush about their services and salon. I posted a review on the encore Facebook and Hair by Hannah facebook page. Anything that may seem personal that i put in my review was posted by Hannah herself on her business Hair by Hannah Facebook page. She wanted to let everyone know what was going on so she could offer specials to her clients to help raise money for her ex. So here is my review about Hannah and Encore… So I went to Hannah for extensions! I purchased them on October the 31st after she said if you buy 4 bundles the 5th one is free. Hannah talked me into getting the overnight shipping and said she could get me in that following Monday at 6pm. Hannah sent me a text Sunday night after 9pm telling me that she can’t do Monday because it will be to late for her daughter to be out, and told me she could get me in on Wednesday at 2 pm and just not to tip her. Well I work full time and during the day, so it wasn’t easy to move around my schedule. So I go in on Wednesday and get a color and then my extentions I paid an arm and a leg for, including overnight shipping. So she is almost done putting in my extentions and tells me I have no more room and she is having a hard time finding room to put all of the 4th bundle in. Ok! So Hannah gets done and I leave feeling a little bummed cause my hair feels very thin. My friends said it looks very thin… so I text her the next morning and ask if she can put the last bundle in. She said no! That I have no room. But I did and she asked for pictures. So I took them and sent them to her. She still said no and that the 5th bundle was hers. But when I consulted a few dreamcatchers certified stylists they said that I had plenty of room and the installation was sloppy. So my extentions were put in Wednesday the 5th of November, she finally agreed to add more hair but she would have to purchase another bundle…. So looking at her Facebook, it looks like she added it to a client she put extentions in on Friday. Hmmm did she charge her for that bundle? I wonder! So after a few days she still didn’t have the bundle. I offered to pay for it and just have my move up free. Which I would still be paying more for the bundle. She said she still hadn’t ordered it and that she couldn’t get me in. Well she had some personal stuff going on, that she posted to her Facebook. She posted that she had spots open for clients. I asked if she could get me in. She posted that she was trying to raise money for her personal issues and trying to get clients in and she would donate the money. I offered to pay more, but she still couldn’t get me in. She said it wasn’t about the money, she just didn’t have time to order it. It takes about 60 seconds, I was there when she ordered my first set. Well I would text her every few days and ask when she could get me in. Still the same answer “I haven’t had time to order the hair yet”. So a few days pass and she is posting that she is getting married, and running specials for clients. And now her excuse is she still hasn’t ordered the bundle cause she doesn’t have the money. Well I offered to pay for it… so here we are on December 10th and still no bundle ordered. So I went to another certified dreamcatchers stylist. She was shocked at how badly my extentions were done. My friend got her extentions done the week before mine. And has had 10 extentions fall out with big chunks of her real hair pulled out. Also she had a big tangled mess in between her scalp and 4 beads. They were all attached to each other. And no I never got my last bundle in. Do your research and get more than 1 consult. The owner of the salon was no help. Said that there was nothing she could do. But then when I posted a review she said that I should have contacted her personally….
