Kayoko is hands down one of the BEST Japanese hairstylists in New England. My girlfriend and I have been visiting her for the past several years, even before she opened her own salon, and her skill truly exceeds expectations!!! Even when traveling outside of the U.S.A., we always come back to Kayoko because of her attention to detail, expert skill-set, and welcoming attitude.

I have been trying to find a good Asian salon in Boston for a while, and I think I might have found the right place! I had a haircut from Kiyomi San, she’s very attentive and patient. Although she doesn’t speak too much English just yet, she made sure to check in with me frequently. I also enjoyed practicing my broken Japanese with her :p. Will sure come back again!

En Salon is a clean and very nice decorated hair dresser. The owner and all the people were very friendly and helpful. I have never enjoyed haircuts as much as I have at En Salon. The salon itself is light, airy, and inviting, and Nao and Kayoko are two of the kindest, most thoughtful people you’ll meet. Nao takes into consideration your personal style as well as your hair texture and growth pattern to create a cut that works for you. I’ve brought in long, color-damaged hair and short textured hair, and Nao has skillfully handled it all. Can’t recommend them more highly!!

Kayoko is highly skilled, has years of experience and is just a delight to be with. She listens closely to her clients and is creative, precise and technical at the same time.
