Critical: PunctualityI made an appointment for a birthday gift for a young teen. We showed up early, the doors were locked and nobody answered the door. We were early so we waited in the car. No big deal. It gets past the appointment time and still no stylist. We wait half hour past the appointment time. No stylist. Ok. Life happens and sometimes people are late. Called the shop number. No answer, but there’s a number to text. The owner. Cool. This is good. So I text. She replies back with a quick call a few minutes later. Awesome. She’s supposed to be coming to the shop in an hour and would find out who the stylist was who didn’t show up and would get back to me. It’s now 2 hours later and I still haven’t heard back and nobody came to the shop. Yes. We waited in the parking lot. I’m very disappointed, but worse, the young lady whose hair was supposed to be done as a special birthday surprise for the first time since her mom passed away a year ago is very disappointed. This is not ok. We’re both frustrated and upset. I can forgive a lot, but this, deserved a very low rating. I’ll update again if there’s anything to add that’s worth adding. My suggestion? Make sure you bring snacks if you plan to wait for hours for your appointment like we did. This was awful and there was no communication about anything after the initial call from the owner, even when I texted to see if there was any further news about it we even had an appointment anymore.I made an appointment for a birthday gift for a young teen.
