Emmett Technique is a form of body therapy involving light finger pressure at specific points, as well as the ability to directly influence muscle action, as such points may have a memory and emotional attachment. This neuromuscular therapy assists to reprogram and recalibrate muscle memory and action. The understanding of the body’s response to the light touch is utilized as it has been suggested that the body reacts in a similar way to the working of a touch-screen.
