I’ve been here approximately 4x. Unfortunately today is my last. I took my daughter to have box braids done July 23rd and have been calling for the last week to have them taken out. Finally today they were able to do it. As I’m there I was asked a few times if I wanted to take mine out as well. Initially I said no. But then I said ok so I wouldn’t have to come back. As I’m there more clients come for knotless braids. When the stylists is almost done she keeps asking me about the style I want. Since they are unable to wash my hair I said just do 2 braids. I am a paying customer. If I’m asking you for 2 cornrows just do it. I need to wash my hair before going any other style. She basically did not want to do it because the other customers were bigger jobs $$$$ and waiting. I am livid but it’s ok because they will continue to loose customers and stylists with this treatment.

I got my hair braided by Mesha. She’s very good with styling braids. From experience everyone there can braid but NOT style. I would highly recommend Mesha if your going for styled braids. Overall comfortable environment and friendly staff. Braids

I am in such shock how well I was treated on the telephone first which made me come to the Emma braiding salon. Everyone was polite nice and listened to what my request of service was. They are so professional and kind with FAIR prices. Everyone should come here. If you must travel it is worth the trip!!

I want to make it clear they do braids really well and seem very talented. I enjoyed the way my hair came out, however, the turn off for me is making an appointment, being told to come a certain time and then having to wait two hours before actually getting in the chair. What is the point of giving me a time to come if there is no guarantee the appointment will start on time. I was willing to wait 30mins but 2hrs is ridiculous and shows a lack of respect for my time. Would I return? I don’t know, maybe.

I come here from time to time because this particular location is nearby. I got there when they opened at 9am and received mediocre service. Im going to say this…When customers come into your establishment for a service please do not expect your client to do your job. Unless you are going to provide a discount. I got here and could not relax or enjoy my self because I was too busy dividing the hair up for this braider to do my cornrows. Literally this chic had the audacity to ask me to help her divide up the hair and give it to her…what is that about?!? Then complained that I was dividing the hair to small or too large…Ugh that’s why I was paying you to do it…Talk about horrible customer service.

I went here for waist length box braids. From 9:30 to approx 2:45pm but I can’t complain. Joyce took good care of my head and did such a great job despite my hair being so short! I loved it!!! ✨✨✨
