i LOVE this salon. I came to this salon from a busy “higher end” salon and I love this place. It’s nice to go somewhere and feel like you’re taken care of and not just a client/appointment. I hate all the gossip of big salons, and how impersonal they are. I see Jessica and she always takes her time to make sure my color and cut will work for me not only in the salon, but at home when I am styling my hair myself !! I brought my mom in and she said she’s in love too! The other stylists I’ve met are extremely kind and helpful and even take the time to give me tips and tricks while I’m in the salon.

I found Artistic Hair on the internet about a year ago because the stylist I had and really liked moved away. My hair is very thick which makes it necessary to use a razor to cut the layers properly. Not many stylists I have found do this. Leah not only gave me a great cut but shared her expertise about my hair, products and cuts that would and wouldn’t work on my hair. And she does so without trying to hard sell me lots of products. I have watched the other stylists, too, and they seem to be very competent and professional with cut and color as well. Everyone is nice, it is a low pressure, relaxing atmosphere and every head I have seen walking out of the salon looks great. Thanks for caring so much about your work, ladies. You do a great job!

I very recently moved out of the central Connecticut area into Windsor locks. I have had the same hair stylist cut my hair for the past 20 years and was VERY nervous about having a new stylist cut my hair. I found Artistic Hair Salon and saw a stylist named Jessica. She was very nice and took the time to know how I wanted my hair to be cut and made me feel very comfortable! I had a great experience and will have no problem going back!

I have been going to Artistic Hair Salon for several years now, and I won’t go anywhere else. I feel like they really listen when you explain what you want to do with your hair and have helpful advice.
