I moved to Illinois a few years ago and I had the best hair stylist for over 15 years. Once I moved here, I found it hard to find someone that not only did a good job, but could remain consistent. I tried more than 6 people over a 2 year span and I couldn’t find anyone with the attention to detail or constancy until I found Emily’s Studio. Emily is great, she takes notes about you and your hair and makes you feel calm and comfortable. She is very consistent and because of her, my wife finally likes my haircuts when I come home! I normally don’t do reviews but because of Emily’s exceptional service, I found it important to give a 5 star review.

I’m so glad that I found Emily to cut my hair. Others that I’ve gone to in the past have been ‘okay’. I would ask for suggestions and, many times, the response would be “whatever you want”. Part of the problem was that I didn’t what kind of haircut would work well for me and my type of hair, job, and lifestyle. It’s not what I do. Emily, however, listened to what I had to say, gave me honest feedback, and made her suggestions. She has tweaked a few things here and there over the last several months based on my feedback, but this is the happiest that I’ve been with my haircut in a very long time.
