Truly the best place I’ve ever been for a haircut and I go weekly. I moved to CO a year ago and was beyond lucky to find her. My hair is hard to fade but she is a pro. Very easy to work with, easy to book, extreamly flexible and always great conversation. I get asked all the time when I am out and about “who cuts your hair?” I send everyone I know here.

To be clear – I *tried* to use this barbershop. Three times I booked an appointment. The first time, I got an email 10 minutes before my appointment time telling me they weren’t open that day. The second time, I got an email 13 minutes before asking me to come 30 minutes later (couldn’t do that), and the third time – today – well, they didn’t show at our appointed time. The store was empty and dark, and no-one answered the phone. So – they might actually be competent barbers, but I’ll never know, because after them cancelling on me 3 times in a week – it’s time to move on.

Sharline is the best barber I have ever had, hands down! Funny, personable and professional. I found her after many inconsistent cuts and barbers that never did as good a job as she does. She takes the time to get it right and helps you look your best. Sharline is also the first barber my girlfriend has ever liked the cut that was given to me. Even though I’m moving to the mountains I’ll be sure to make a trip back from time to time to come get a cut…she’s the only one I trust to do it right, everytime. Do yourself a favor and pay her and emilie Joe’s barber shop a visit.

I’ve been to a lot of barbers in Denver. Usually the process is the same… I grow a beard… Go to some hipster place where they play garbage music, serve whiskey and give garbage beard trims… Then I pay a bunch of money and shave my beard off after they butcher it. Sharline is the opposite. She knows what she’s doing. I look forward to getting my beard trim each month and finally have a beard I’m happy with. She takes her time and is a true professional. So glad to have found Emilie Joe’s Barber shop.
