I cannot recommend Emerald Roots Salon enough. I am from Rosemount but moved to St. Paul, and I was shocked at salon prices in the cities. My mom recommended Emerald Roots and I’ll never go back–SO worth the 30 minute drive! I got a haircut and partial balayage for a fantastic deal. What I loved most was Jessica’s transparency. She was honest and told me I didn’t need a full balayage to achieve the look I wanted and that ended up saving me money. It’s clear they are not about making money off of their clients. And I felt fabulous when I left the salon! I loved the end result.

Tiffany is an extremely gifted stylist. My hair is very thick, coarse, & generally difficult to manage. She did a precision cut & thinning that was perfect. Her expertise in color is also excellent. It’s very evident she has extensive training beyond basic beauty school. Plan to book with her regularly when return next spring.

Friendly staff, following safety procedures, affordable prices. You can also book online, which is very helpful! I booked at night for a cut first thing the next morning, and everything went well! Me, my wife, and our two kids have all gotten cuts here and been happy with the results.
