Critical: Cleanliness, Quality, ValueVery disappointed with my experience at this salon. Initially I thought it was going great. Felt a little weird when the tech told me that I needed to relax while contorting my fingers, but I thought whatever she’s probably right. Then I started to feel even weirder when she began dipping my nails into the container of power…. That cannot be sanitary I thought. Then she pulled out a small finger sized glass…. proceeded to use it once, then went right back to dipping my fingers into the same container that holds the dip power. She also proceeded to cut me with the drill during this appointment. I was trying to put this in the back of my mind, but the appointment just worse from there. At $59 I thought this would be a full manicure but the tech did not trim my cuticles or clean up the nail edges, massage, or lotion. There are several big smudges and the French line is not crisp. There are several really bad runs where the dip was smooshed up into the pink. Also several pieces of lint trapped beneath the top coat. Make of these pictures what you will. I am very disappointed and I wouldn’t recommend this salon, even for the sanitary concerns alone. Very disappointed with my experience at this salon. Initially I thought it was going great. Felt a little weird when the tech told me that I needed to relax while contorting my fingers, but I thought whatever she’s probably right. The new owner, Sandra, took the extra time to remove my acrylic nails to ensure the least amount of damage to my real nails underneath. Sierra then did a great job with my manicure. She was warm and personable, I enjoyed talking to her. The interior of the salon was spacious and professionally decorated. The price was affordable, especially for the high quality of service I received. I found Emeli Kate through Google and booked an appointment online. They confirmed my appointment through text and sent me a reminder text the day before. When I walked in I was immediately greeted by my nail tech and sat on a comfy couch while I waited.
