I love this salon so much! It has such a great feeling to it- like luxury in a small town. It has a great smell. Everyone is really friendly and there is a lot of laughter and joy. I currently see Adeline. She is AMAZING! She’s probably too cool for me, but she has such great energy and is consistent on quality cuts and rich color that suit my face. It’s always a fair price- highly recommend!

My husband and I recently got married at the Toledo Zoo and booked Embellir Salon for all of our wedding hair needs. Myself, my bridal party, Mothers, Grandmothers, and Flower Girl all arrived early the day of our wedding. Our party was large enough that Embellir booked the entire salon, so it was like a private event. The hairstyle that I requested for the wedding required extensions, and Embellir coordinated, ordered, and shipped my extensions on my behalf. When I went down for my trial run, the stylist confirmed the hair color and did a wonderful job providing the look I wanted. She was experienced, kind, and my hair looked like everything I was hoping for and more. She took notes so that it would be just as perfect the day of my wedding – and it was. The stylists were all amazing, and their friendliness really helped foster a fun environment for everyone to enjoy and have a great time while being pampered. One bridesmaid specifically requested a style that none of the stylists had done before, but there was no hesitation in providing the look and the final product was stunning. I can’t recommend this salon enough for all of your event hair and makeup needs – you won’t be disappointed.

I’ve been going to the Embellir Salon since I’ve been 18 (I am now 28) and Adeline never fails to amaze me. I am a blonde, she specializes in blonde but seems like she can favor any color. Always continues to learn and grow new ways and methods for everything. It’s such a positive and uplifting environment in the salon I always leave feeling refreshed. Never even considered going else where.

Would not recommend this place. Went in there for the first time to get all around (full) blonde highlights in my brown hair. Expected to be charged $95.00 (according to website) or a tad more because my hair is longer. However they ended up charging me $235.00 for a “balayage”, didn’t mention this to me. Used foils in the hair, didn’t seem to be any special technique to it. Seemed like they saw a young girl and was trying to take advantage of me by charging me more. The “balayage” in the picture below is what I received, to me this should have never cost that much money. The “balayage” looked like stripes on the top sides of my head with little to know blonde in the back. Tried to get my money back but owner wasn’t very sympathetic to how frustrated I was because how it looked, so I wouldn’t dare to get it “fixed” at this salon. Would much rather drive 2 hours to my old salon than waste my money.

Erin was amazing! I have massive anxiety when it comes to cutting my hair, changing my look, etc. Erin listened to my needs, wants, and concerns. She provided a stress-free experience and a perfect haircut. Erin also took time to talk to me about some styling things to try with my new cut and I appreciate the extra effort that was taken so that I was comfortable with the results. I highly recommend!
