Friendly staff. Had contacted this place before I chose them to see if they could do Ombre dip color. They said they could and so I went with them. They ended up doing a layer of dip as a base and then using gel polish on top. After it chipped within a few days I asked if they could take the gel off and just do complete dip and was told that I would be charged to change the color.

I was called to come in an hour early on Friday and ended up waiting 35 minutes before told to sit & soak my feet and 50 minutes before a different tech came out of nowhere, didn’t say a word & started my pedi. Never even looked at me or said a word until done.

I’ve been going to Em & Em nails for several years, even at their old location. The nail techs have changed multiple times but I’ve been pleased with 95% of the nail techs I’ve had. Of course, I have my favorite techs and request them when I make an appt, but when not available, I’ve still received good service. I regularly use their pedicure service and their acrylic nails with gel polish. I tip according to service: never less than $5 and as high as $20 per service. I’m writing this review in May 2021 and Em & Em are staying VERY busy. I strongly suggest making an appt from now until the fall. If the answering machine answers, DON’T leave a message because they tell me it doesn’t work OR they don’t know how to work it. Anyway, keep trying until you get a live tech.

The girl that did my pedicure never spoke to me other than to ask if I chose a color and type of pedicure. She was American so there was no language barrier. I was not impressed with any part of the pedicure. When she painted my toes she got blue polish all over my toes. I asked her to please fix it. When she couldn’t, she asked what I assume to be an owner or manager to help. She did manage to remove most, but never spoke to me or even asked if I was satisfied with the results. At this point I was over the experience. I paid what seems to be a very high price for a very poor quality pedicure and left. I will not be returning.

Very rude and understaffed salon. I would NOT recommend to anyone. It took 2 hours for a dip, at my usual salon (Oscar Nails in Muskogee, but due to flooding i was unable to go there) I can get a dip, lip and eyebrow wax, and toes painted in an hour. From the time i walked in, until the time i walked out they were rude and unprofessional. The nail tech doing my nails put foil on my fingers to remove the dip i had previously had on, and instead of painting my toes while I waited for the dip to be soaked off, she completely started and finished someone else’s nails. She was constantly on her phone, not only while I was sitting there, but while she was working on others. Because she took so long doing only my fingernails, i ran out of time to do my toes. I will NOT be returning to this salon anytime soon. Not to mention the fact that two of my nails have cracked and chipped in the first few hours of having them done.
