I got my hair cut at the Belmond Hotel location, and I really enjoyed the experience. Yes, I do agree that their prices are steep, but look around you: they aren’t doing poor-quality work, and they work with and sell very high-quality products. I think for a newly-opened location, they are still coming into their own. I got my hair cut by Marlee, and I appreciated that she realized that not all customers who come in want to have a chat just to get their haircut. She did a great job. Would recommend with no hesitation.

I am so impressed with this salon. I drive 2 hours from Hilton Head to have my hair cut and colored. My daughter also comes here. We have only had great experiences with the staff and owner Kevin. Elysium has a friendly atmosphere and I never feel intimidated like I do in some salons.

Charlotte made my hair the best blonde it’s ever been when I came in and have been going there ever since! I get stopped often to be asked who does my blonde! Elysium is truly a terrible choice. I went in for a hair cut and the stylist said all but 2 words to me the entire time! She barely took off an inch when I specified 3-4 inches be cut, God.. the whole experience was awful. I wanted to ask her if she was even certified to cut hair. Very cold-attitude salon.
